Not many chapters left.
I know I cried writing this chapter :/
It's longer, since I want to get it all done.
Enjoy watching your favourites die. (Lol sorry)
Months pass. We've been doing all we can to take back the castle, but it's no use. I've been brewing blood replenishing potions for the battle, and Severus has the other things covered.
We've all read the daily prophet whenever possible, and I have a feeling Harry will be back soon. We even have our secret passageway to Hogsmeade, and are camping in the room of requirement. Nobody can bear to go outside, and face the Carrows.
I've even given up on trying to reach Severus, for now.
We still attend meetings, but that's it. We've given up on education this year. Maybe we can come back next year to finish it off.
I'm sitting, talking to Sydney and Hazel, when Ariana Dumbledore comes to collect Neville. I stand up, and so does Hazel. We look at each other quickly, then follow Neville through the tunnel. Once we get to the other side, I hug Harry.
"Harry!"
"Isabelle." He stops hugging me, and holds my shoulders. "I'm sorry for doubting you."
"You were still in shock." I shrug. "At least I had a warning."
"We have to get you know what."
"You know what?"
"What?"
"All those things Dumbledore should have told you in your first year, you'll learn them tonight. After looking in the pensive, meet me by Hagrid's hut. Only go to the pensive when you're told to. I have to go now, but I'm counting on you, scar head."
"Where are you going?"
I take a breath. "Remember how I always hang around Severus?"
"Wh-"
"He's my adoptive father."
"What! How is he even capable of feelings?"
"That's so ironic, Harry. So ironic. You'll find out everything tonight. Follow your instincts. I have to go and help him with his stuff. See you later."
I hug Ron and Hermione, then fly back through the tunnel. I land in the room of requirement, and everyone looks at me.
"False alarm, people. Neville and Hazel will be back in a minute. I'm going to visit someone."
"Be careful." Says Luna. "Watch out for nargles."
"I will."
I slip out, and go invisible. Running, I reach Severus's office, and take my charm off. He opens the door, and I step in.
"Harry's here, we need to get ready. I'll keep the potions."
I hold out a bag, and he places the potions inside. I cast a cushioning charm on them, and close the bag before slinging it on my shoulder.
"It's time." Says Severus softly. "Let's hope we both survive."
"What do you mean?"
"We both know that your fate was not written in the books. Be careful out there."
"And make sure not to die unpredictably. We don't want you sheltering some random Hufflepuff and getting blown to smithereens instead."
"I'll make sure to do that. Let's go."
