Shannon's POV
Loki dropped his sceptre and raised his hands, I was sitting on the floor and my daggers were behind the Frost Giants that were surrounding me and Loki. I looked up at Loki and he kicked his sceptre towards me and nodded. I reached for the sceptre, but the Frost Giants kicked it out of the circle. I sat up and looked at the Frost Giants they were discussing what were they going to do with us. But then a arrow entered both of their skulls. Everyone turned to were the arrow came from and we saw Emily and Thor standing on the other end of the room. The Frost Giants did some sort of stream and started to rush towatds them competently forgetting about me and Loki.
Emily's POV
I looked up at Laufey's throne and he wasn't there and then noticed the group of Frost Giants rushing towards me and Thor. I looked over at Thor and he just smirked at me. I smirked back and we both ran towards the army, after a while Shannon and Loki did decide to help. "Did you find Surtur?" Shannon yelled, stabbing two giants in the face.
"Yes, but he wasn't quite what I expected" I answer, shooting a giant in the back of the head.
It started to grow silent and the room was filled in blue bodies. "What do you mean he wasn't what you expected?" Loki muttered.
"He was selfish, a bit harsh and violent" I said, trying to catch my breath.
"Glad to hear he's alright then" Loki mumbled. I just ignored him.
"What do we do now?" Shannon asked.
"I guess we go back to Asgard" Thor answered.
"You guys can" I mumbled.
"No, were all going" Thor moaned.
"Have you noticed. I'm quite done here" I pointed, noticing that the volcano was still frozen.
"You can't do that on your own, it's to risky" Thor mumbled.
"I have to try, then longer we leave it like this the quicker Muspelheim is going to freeze again" I cried.
"But you will in the process" Thor yelled. I ignored him and walked toward Laufey's throne. "Do you think he's still here?" I shouted.
"Yeah, he's here" Shannon cried.
"What makes you so sure?" Loki asked.
"Just trust me" Shannon moaned. Thor started to look concerned and scanned the room, but the room was empty about from me, Thor, Shannon and Loki. Then Shannon looked liked she just saw a ghost. "What's wrong?" I asked. She snapped out of her daze and noticed that everyone was staring at her. "Um....nothing" she murmured. She turned around and looked around the room. Loki placed his hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong? You look terrified" He whispered. She didn't say anything, she looked focused on something. I walked away from the throne and looked on the direction that Shannon was starting and I did see movement. Thor and Loki just looked confused. Then I noticed it was Laufey with a bow of ice, I couldn't really tell what he was aiming at. I was about to shoot him before he had the chance. But Shannon interrupted me "Don't move, no matter what happens" She ordered. I dropped my bow and left it.
Then it came to me, I know what he was aiming at. He knows me and Shannon can see and he know Thor and Loki can't. I turned my head to in the direction of the bow, he was aiming at Thor. Then I heard him let go of the bow, I ran as fast as I could. Shannon did try to stop me, but I kept running. I stopped infront of Thor, pain covered my shoulder and I fell to the ground.
Thor's POV
Emily hit the ground and I heard footsteps getting quieter and quieter. I quickly fell on my knees and put Emily in my arms. There was a arrow sticking out of her shoulder, I felt so useless. She went to pull it out, but I immediately stopped her. "We need to go back now" I ordered.
"No, I have to finish this" Emily stuttered.
"Not in this state" I moaned. Then we heard the footsteps again. I quickly helped Emily to her feet. But when she got up she looked at her arms and they were a purple colour. "Oh no" She murmured. Then we looked around and the ice was beginning to melt, then Surtur walked in with his hand around Laufey's neck. He noticed Emily and looked at Laufey, Laufey started to struggle to breath. "You better get out of here quick, the longer Emily stays with that arrow in her she's going to die and plus it's going to get a little hot in here" He commanded. I nodded and looked up. "Heimdall, now" I yelled.
Light surrounded us, it kept getting brighter ans brighter until I couldn't see anything. After that the light began to fade and you could tell we were back in Asgard. I quickly took Emily to the outside of the bifrost, without talking to anyone and then we found her horse that she left. I helped her on and we went straight to the palace. "Thor, I don't think I'm going to make it" Emily mumbled, weakly.
"Don't say that. Of course you are. You have to" I cried. A few moments later we were a the palace and I took Emily to the infirmary. Eir looked so shocked and worried. Emily laid down on one of the beds, she looked like she was on so much pain and there was nothing I could do. I walked over to her bedside and put her hand in mine. "Why did you save me?" I asked.
"Because your worth saving" She whispered. Then all of a sudden Eir appeared behind me and placed her hand on my shoulder. "It's best if you leave. Don't worry I'll call you when you can see her" She suggested. I looked up at Eir then back down at Emily and she nodded. I smiled, stood up, kissed her forehead and left. I never went anywhere, I just stayed outside the infirmary.
