Meryl's POV
The next day, I had made plans to go on the boat with my parents. With everything that has been going on lately, we rarely had time to talk.
I asked Maks if he would like to tag along.
"No, babe. I'm too exhausted. Plus, you haven't talked to them in a while and I don't want to intrude on family time." He said as he buried himself underneath the covers.
"Okay, well I gotta go. Bye honey." I started walking towards the bedroom door when I felt a pair of muscular arms wrap around my waist and pull me back onto the bed.
"You aren't allowed to leave without a kiss and an 'I love you'." He buried his face in my neck.
"I love you." His hair tickled my cheek as he lifted his head.
"I love you more." He kissed my cheek and let me stand up.
"Sure you do. See you around dinner time." I gave him a quick kiss and headed to the lake.

Sorry this is so short. I will be updating quite a lot today because I will be in the car for 11 hours.
On another note, I cannot believe that we've gotten to 3K!!! I love you guys sooo much!!! Okay, on to writing more. :)
