Meryl's POV

As I slammed the door, I could hear Maks scream and throw something. Was he really that jealous? He knows I would never cheat on him. Maybe he misses the way I used to get dressed up for him?

I heard him scream again.

"I can't do this." I whispered to myself as I whipped out my phone and dialed a number.

"Hello?" Jason picked up on the first ring.

"Hey, Jason it's Meryl."

"Oh hey, is everything alright?" His tone quickly changed from calm to worried.

"No, not really. My husband, Maks, got really jealous when he found out we were going out tonight.

"Oh.." He became silent.

"I'm really sorry but, my husband is more important to me than dinner tonight. I'm really sorry." I felt bad after finishing my sentence.

"It's okay, I totally understand. Bye Mer." He chuckled a little and hung up before I could respond.

Quickly turning on my heel, I walked back inside to find a broken lamp on the floor, a hole in the wall, and Maks sitting quietly on the couch with his arms crossed.

I silently walked over to him and sat next to him. The room was quiet for a moment but I finally spoke.

"I'm really sorry I lied to you." I said quietly.

"It's okay. I overreacted. I'm really sorry I screamed at you. I just care too much about you, that's why we've been fighting a lot lately." Maks pulled me onto his lap and hugged me tight to his chest.

"I love you." We said at the same time. I giggled as he carried me to the bedroom.

Sometimes I think he just likes the make-up sex...
