Maks' POV

Once we were allowed into the doctor's office, I became extremely nervous. What if something goes wrong? What if there is no baby?

'I need to calm down.' I told myself. Meryl noticed that I was shaking and thinking so she spoke up as we waited for the doctor to come in.

"Maks, you have no reason to be nervous. Everything is going to go great! Just breathe." Meryl smiled calmly as she sat down on the table. Before I could respond, the doctor came in.

"Hello, Meryl and Maks. I'm Dr. Wolegumth, you can call me Dr. W if you'd like. How are we today?" He had a kind smile and had brown eyes with red hair.

"We're okay." Meryl responded.

"Great! Let's see if there's a baby. This is gonna be a little cold, okay?" He brought out this tube as Meryl lifted her shirt. Meryl jumped as the liquid touched her stomach and Dr. W laughed. Dr. W turned on the screen and he nodded.

"What?" I asked, clearly nervous.

"Oh, the sound isn't up. But there is a baby in there. You're about 9 weeks along." He smiled pointing at the screen. Soon Meryl and I heard the thump-thump of the baby's heart. "There is the baby's head, he or she is about the size of a grape. Congratulations you two." After he had left, Meryl looked at me with tears in her eyes.

"I'm so happy." Meryl smiled.

"I am too. I have a question." Meryl looked at me confused.

"What?"

"If you're 9 weeks pregnant, when the hell did you conceive?" I half laughed.

"You, know I have no idea." We both laughed and headed home.

Once we got home, we began to talk about names.

"I really want the baby's name to be Russian. Their names are so pretty." Meryl said.

"Okay, what about Immanuil for a boy?" I suggested, she shook her head.

"Hm, Nikita? For a boy, I mean," Meryl suggested and we both shook our heads.

"Leo?" I could see Meryl liked this one and I did too.

"Yeah, but I also like Erik."

"We can have both for now, and then decide when he's born." I said.

"If, it's a boy." Meryl giggled, she really wanted a girl.

"Okay what about Viktoriya for a girl?" She shook her head.

"Ooh! Lidiya!" She got really excited. I nodded. "Do you want to have two for the girl too?" Meryl asked.

"Yeah, what about Oksana?" I suggested.

"Oooohh!!! I really like that one too. So Oksana and Lidiya for the girls, and Leo and Erik for the boys." We both nodded and kissed. I was so excited to welcome this baby with Meryl.
