I'm not asking for permission

"Sir, I apologize for my abruptness but I must insist that your son joins me. I cannot discuss the full extent or reasons with you, but I promise I will cause no harm to your son despite whatever you you think of my people," I waited patently and still the pair didn't come out.
"Leave or we'll call the guards!" Varian called out.
"You live in old corona and the guards are on an island. It would take them two hours to get here at best, providing good weather conditions. You're bluffing," I growled.
"Yeah, maybe, but I'm not bluffing with this!" Varian dashed out of the house carrying a strange twisted piece of metal. He swung for my head and I couldn't react fast enough, the metal cutting a gash across my forehead. I stumbled back, red blooming into my vision. I hissed as I drew out the blade I had just purchased and leveled it at the boy.
"Listen Varian, I am asking you to come with me, but if you do not I am not afraid to drag you back to the north by force." He took a step back and before I knew it his father has me in a choke hold. I thrashed to the best of my ability but soon my libs became weak and I blacked out.
------
I woke in a carriage. The steady rattle of hoof beats and the light conversation of people drifted through the walls. I groaned and reached up to feel my forehead. To my surprise, the skin was healed and not a drop of blood was left. I dragged myself up to the window to see the same long haired woman riding on horse besides the carriage. There were guards surrounding me and I searched for my knife. It was gone! I panicked and began scrambling around the carriage. I hissed in frustration. I just have dropped it when I was fighting... I watched the princess as she rode and took in as many details about her as I could. Green eyes, the characteristic long blond hair, a simple purple dress, and a bright, sunny aura seeming to radiate around her. She happened to look up and caught my eyes, but quickly turned away. I sighed and slumped onto the floor.
What I had said wasn't false. I was a messenger for the Northern Isles. What these people didn't know was that I was no ordinary messenger. I was the true heir to the northern crown. The Northern Isles was a vast territory rumored to be filled with monsters and it's people believed to be demons. The surrounding kingdoms held such fear of us and their emotions were not unfounded. The Northern Isles had once been a mighty conquer and ruthless in its path of conquest. Now, it was just at the brink of civil war.
The carriage stopped and the doors swung open. Two guards flanked me and handcuffs were slipped over my wrists.  My eyes landed on Varian who was standing some distance away from me. He kept glancing at me as if I would grow spines and fangs. I was lead up the front steps of the palace and into the throne room where the king and queen sat. Rapunzel ran up and sat next to them, her gaze somewhat softer than the other's. My gaze swept around the room meeting all that dared gaze at me and watching almost all avert their eyes. Finally, I addressed the king.
"Your Highness," I did not bow," the Northern Isles sends you its greetings. After so many years-"
He cut me off," What does the Northern Isles want with Corona?"
"Nothing," I answered blatantly, " I simply want to offer Varian with a job opportunity involving his special skill set."
"The guards tell me you planned to take him by force," stated the king, " Is this true?"
"Maybe," I purred and grinned at the king's annoyed face.
Soon I was sent away and shoved into a dungeon cell. It was dark and smelly but it was still not the worst place I'd ever been locked up. I was handcuffed and chained to the back wall. The guards who handled me never met my eyes.
