Today we were going to the store to find Olivia a costume for Halloween. She's been thinking about all the things she's wanted to be but I think she's established to be Wonder Woman. Olivia also wanted Alex to come with and my mom didn't mind so I asked him in which he said 'of course i'll go :)'.
"Are you dressing up, Autumn?" Livy asked
"Uhh i'm not sure, I doubt it" I say
"You and Alex should dress up together! Oh how cute!" My mom gushed
"Oh god" I chuckled
Soon enough when Alex came, we all got in the car and drove to the Halloween store. I was in the front with my mom while Alex was in the back with Liv.
"So what are you dressing up as for Halloween Liv?" Alex asked
"Wonder Woman!" She sang causing us to laugh a bit
"That's a great choice" He smiles
We get to the store and Livy is already jumping for joy
"Let's go let's go!" She cheers as she was trying to get us to hurry up to the little girls section.
Eventually we found her section and she went running up to the Wonder Woman costumes.
"It's so pretty!" She smiles widely
"It is really cute actually" I said as I looked at it
"Alright, get your size and we'll go try it on" My mom said
They got her size from the off the rack, "We're gonna go to the dressing rooms, we'll be back" My mom said as she held Olivia's hand
Alex and I were looking around the store," Are you dressing up?" Alex asked
"I'm not sure, I don't think i'm doing anything for Halloween." I said
"Perfect" He smiles as I look up at him in confusion
"Why perfect?" I asked
"I was gonna ask if you'd like to come to a halloween party with my friends and I? You can bring your friends too if you want" He said
"Uhh, I don't know" I said feeling kinda iffy "I'm not a big party person"
"Me neither but my friends insisted me to go and I thought if i'd ask you, you'd like to come but it's totally fine if you don't want to go" He said a little nervously
I giggled a bit "No it's okay, i'll go I guess but if I want to leave can I leave?" I asked
"Definitely but i'm coming with"
"Deal" I said
"Now that means we need costumes" He smirks
"Oh god I forgot" I groan
"It'll be fun love" He laughs
We looked around the store, I don't know if I can find a costume that has long sleeves and pants or shorts that cover my thighs.
"First off, are we dressing up together or separate?" I asked
"Hmmm together" He smiles
"Alright then, umm" I look through the costumes
He and I went to look on the different sides of the stores by ourselves, and eventually met in the middle to see what we'll wear.
We had Danny and Sandy from Grease, Skeletons, Mickey and Minnie, Jack and Sally and lastly, Archie and Veronica from Riverdale.
"I'm loving the Jack and Sally costume" He said
"Me too, so Jack and Sally?" I asked
"Definitely" He said
Thank god, i'll have the costume leggings on and it has sleeves.
Soon enough my mom came into view with a very happy Olivia.
"Her costume fit, thank god" She sighss in relief which makes us chuckle "I see you two found some costumes huh?"
"Yeah, oh is it okay of I go to a Halloween party with Alex?" I asked
"Sure but, no drinking, no drugs, no funny business, and be home by 12"
What the heck, she actually agreed? And extended my curfew?
"Of course Ms. Montgomery" Alex said
"Good, now, are we ready to pay for all this?" She asked
We then paid for our things and went home to hang out.
"Who's gonna do your face makeup?" I asked, we were in the living room with Olivia watching Hotel Transylvania
"Probably my friend Astrid, unless you want to do it?" He asks
"I can if you want but you'd have to come over early"
"That's no problem" He smiles
I had text my friends if they wanted to go to a party and they all said yes of course.
"You know what sounds super good guys?" Livy asks
"What?" Alex and I say in unison
"Cookies, like baked cookies" She says
"We'd have to go to the store to buy some" I said
"Well let's go! Mom! Can we go to the store?!" Livy gets up to leave to my moms room
"You know we're gonna have to go to the store right?" I said
Alex groans and buries his head in my neck, my stomach fills with butterflies
"Mom says if you guys take me she'll give us money to buy the cookies" Livy walks back in
Next thing I know we're at the grocery store. I hated the grocery store.
"What cookies do you want to make Livy?" Alex asked
"Sugar!"
We grabbed a packet of the sugar cookies and regular chocolate chip, along with some frosting. We had sprinkles back at home thankfully. On our way to the cash register there was a area filled with pumpkins.
"Can we carve pumpkins too?" Olivia asked
"Livy..." I said
"It'll be fun" Alex said
"You are no help you know that" I chuckled
We ended up getting little pumpkins just to paint, not carve, which was still fun.
The rest of the night we decorated cookies, watched Halloween movies, and painted our pumpkins. It was such a cute and great day

Okay yes this chapter sucked but I think it's a somewhat good filler chapter and set up for the Halloween chapter for tomorrow ;)
