Chapter 14

Its Christmas day finally, Grace and her family were on their way over, we decided to just wear pajamas this year.

My family had made it in a couple of days ago, they were staying at my aunts house a little while from my house. They all got to meet Alex, my cousins love him, so do my aunts and uncles of course. It was funny cause they were being protective, i'm sure his family will do the same.

I think i'm meeting them today, i'm not sure yet. I'm kind of nervous but it'll be okay, I just hope they like me.

Soon enough my family and Grace's family arrived and we ate I guess you could say dinner, it was really like supper since it was four in the afternoon. After we ate we decided to open presents, Olivia was so excited she gasped and hugged every toy she got.

I had gotten some shoes I really wanted, some makeup I wanted to test out, and of course some more art supplies.

I had given Grace her presents and she loved them, i'm so lucky to have a best friend like her in my life.

She had gotten me some cute sloth things that I loved, and a cute little friendship ring. I loved it!

After presents some went to eat leftovers and some went and played board games, but I was getting ready to go to Alex's house, he had texted me and asked if I wanted to come over

"Don't be nervous, they're going to love you!" Grace says

"I hope so, oh no why am I so nervous" I say

"Breathe okay? It's gonna be just fine" She hugs me

I had changed into some jeans and a flannel, along with a warm jacket cause it was practically freezing outside.

"Okay, I got this" I say

When Alex got here, he said hi to my family real quick as I grabbed his gifts from under the tree.

"Are those mine?" He asked

"Duh" I chuckled which made him smile

We then made our way outside to his truck, I put his gifts in the middle of us

"I'm so nervous" I said as he started the truck

"Why love? They're going to love you okay?" He takes my hand in his

"Okay" I sigh

We listened to Christmas music on the way to his house, I made sure I was breathing and not trying to think negatively.

We pulled into his driveway and his house was so cute "I love your house, its so pretty" it really was

"Haha thanks" He kisses my cheek

He helps with the gifts as I get out of the truck

"Don't be nervous love" He holds my hand as he opens the door

The house is filled with the laughs and screams of his little cousins playing, along with the conversations of the adults in the living room

When we walked in it was more of the dinning room area and it led into the living room. He set his gifts down in the dinning room since the kids wouldn't mess with them.

We walked into the living room, my heart was pounding I was so nervous. I guess Alex could tell since he squeezed my hand a bit for reassurance.

All eyes were on us as we walked in "Hey guys!" Alex waved "I'd like you all to meet Autumn, my girlfriend" He says

"Hi everyone, it's nice to meet you all" I say

"Autumn! So you're the one we've heard about" I'm guessing it was his aunt that said this, she came up and hugged me "I'm his Aunt Carrie" She said
