It's been about two days since my date with Alex and we've talked pretty much all weekend, I told my mom about the date and she seems to really like this kid so far, as do I. Livy says that if anything happens she'll "kick his butt" her words not mine but I appreciate the support.
As for Audrey, all she told me was "the dork finally got a boyfriend? I hope he's not a dick" I guess that mean't she was somewhat supportive but still a bitch? I'm not sure anymore. My friends of course blew my phone up Saturday morning asking for all the details but I didn't spill them, I told them to wait till I saw them at school which is tomorrow. It sucks to know that Alex doesn't go to the same school as I do but on the bright side, we're in the same grade level.
Texts:
Alex: Hey Autumn?
Autumn: Yes?
Alex: How about another date next Saturday?
Autumn: I'd like that :)
Alex: Great, how about dinner?
Autumn: That sounds nice, where at?
Alex: How about i'll make it a surprise
Autumn: That's not fair!
Alex: Very fair :)
Autumn: :(
Alex: Don't be sad :( You're too beautiful to be sad <3

He doesn't know anything about my past yet, I don't know if I should even tell him. He'll probably think i'm a depressed freak and bolt, no one likes someone like me, that's the thing. I try not to think about it so I leave my room to help my mom with the laundry and some other chores.
"Why do you look so sad Autumn?" Livy asked as I entered the living area
"Uh, just a sad YouTube video that's all" I shrug
"Aww, it'll be okay Autumn" Livy comes over and hugs me at the waist since she's still tiny "I love you!" She giggles
"I love you more" I kiss the top of her head
Soon our Sunday was coming to an end so dinner was made, laundry was folded, groceries were bought, and now all that's left is to pick out tomorrows outfit. Livy was out like a light by the time it was nine o' clock so I had to keep quite, telling everyone else goodnight and picking out clothes for the following day.
I was finally under my covers, I was exhausted so it felt so good to lay down. I sent Alex a goodnight text, hoping everything would turn out right.
The next day:
I told my friends to ask no questions about the date while we're on the bus, I wanted a peaceful bus ride before they threw any questions at me
"So how did everything go?!"
"Did you guys kiss?"
"Was he nice?"
"What did he wear?"
As so as we got to school I was thrown multiple questions by my friends.
"Can you guys hush?!" I snapped which caused them all to stop talking "It was amazing, he was really nice, my mom seems to like him but you know how she is, and he was very respectful the entire time" I said
"So, no kiss" Steph asked
"Well, only on the cheek okay, he was being respectful and I really appreciated that" I smiled
"She's blushing guys! You know what that means" Caden points out
"Hey! Chill out guys" I say making my friends laugh
My friends seem really happy for me but i'm not sure I should tell them we're going on a second date or not.
Classes went by fairly quickly so as soon as the bell rang to go home, I made it to my bus, I put my headphones in and kind of blocked everyone out for the whole ride home. I was once again home alone, I didn't mind it actually, I put some music on and started making some food for Livy and I for when she gets home later.
My phone buzzes and it's a text, from Alex, it brought a smile to my face along with that weird bubbly butterfly feeling. All it read was "How was your day love?" but for some reason just the little things made me happy. I replied to him that it was good and we just continued to talk about random things, until we stared to get into a somewhat serious conversation: we were arguing about TV shows and how good they were and how some sucked, yes I know it's very serious.
"Autumn?" I hear the door open and see Liv
"Livy! How was school little one?" I hugged her
"It was good but the boys keep messing with me and being mean" She looks down at her feet in disappointment
This made my heart shatter, no one hurts my baby sister "who?!" I get angry
"His name is Anthony, he keeps picking on me because of the way I dress and my drawings." She saddens
"Well, I think your clothes are so cool and absolutely fabulous, your drawings are amazing as well, and should be put in an art museum where all the famous people are." I smile at her "And as for Anthony, he's a butt head and if he keeps messing with you then tell him that you have a big sister that will kick his butt" I say causing her to laugh
"Thank you Autumn, I love you!" She hugs me
"I love you too, now are you hungry?" I ask
"Yes! Very!" She exaggerates and sits at the table
I set down a grilled cheese along with her favorite, strawberries. I know, very weird combination but it's only a snack till mom gets home and dinners ready. But it made me think of Alex when he asked me that cute question.
"Why are you smiling?" Livy snaps me back into reality
"Oh, nothing I'm just being weird" I shrug
"Is it about Alex?" Damn this kid is smart
"Maybe..." I giggle
"Ooo! Tell me! Tell me!" She grins
I tell her about that night, she kept saying "Awe" and "that's so cute" she was really adorable, in her eyes I guess it's like what you see in those Disney channel movies.
"But he's just so sweet Liv, I really like him" I sigh
"He sounds like a sweet guy Autumn, I think you guys should get married" She giggles, taking me off guard
"I think it's a little too early for that Livy" I chuckle
"I tried" She shrugged as she took a bite of her grilled cheese

"Mom?" I walk into her room
"Yes?" She calls from her bed
"I wanted to talk to you, about Alex." I say as I sit at the end of her bed
"Is everything okay?" She paused the show on her TV
"Yeah, it's just he wants to go out again... this weekend" I say
"Oh my god! You should go!" She excitedly said
"Oh wow, uh okay! I just needed to make sure it was okay with you because well, you're my mom" I laugh a bit
"Honey, I know you really like this guy and I can tell. He seems to really like you too and for him to want a second date this quickly, he better be a good one." She winks
"I'm sure he is, thanks mom" I smile and then leave her room
