SHIP: Klance
{at this point they're already roommates and dating, it's 2 in the morning and Lance is making coffee and Keith is doing some astronomy homework. Everyone else is asleep.}
Lance switched on the coffee machine and grabbed a cup, pushing it under the dispenser and wiggling his hips in time with the radio, which was softly playing.
Keith tapped his pencil on his Astronomy textbook in time to the beat of the song, and bopped his head gently. As the song ended and was followed by a Spotify ad break, the coffee machine let out a whistle, and Lance pulled out the mug of coffee and sipped it, looking at Keith as he scrunched his eyebrows together.
All of a sudden, "House of Gold" comes on, and Keith perks up as he hears the first strums of a ukulele to the song.
He began to sing.
"She asked me, son, when I grow old, will you buy me a house of gold?"
"And when your father turns to stone, will you take care of me?"
Lance was in a trance from Keith's voice and began singing softly.
"She asked me, son, when I grow old, will you buy me a house of gold?" Keith smiled as he stood up from his chair and began dancing, beckoning for Lance to join him and sing. So he did.
They sang together.
"And when your father turns to stone, will you take care of me?"
Keith moved slowly to Lance.
"I will make you Queen of everything you see," Keith tilted Lance's chin up to meet his eyes, making Lance blush. "I'll put you on the map, i'll cure you of disease."
All of a sudden, Keith grabbed Lance's hip and began dancing around the kitchen with his boyfriend, singing in harmony. Lance laughed and grabbed Keith's hand as they swayed in time to the music.
Keith dip dived Lance and stared into his eyes.
"I, will, make, you, Queen, of, everything you see. I'll put you on the map," Keith winked and Lance flushed red and slammed his lips onto Keith's ecstatically, pulling Keith onto the floor.
"I'll cure you of disease."
{A/N I'm so sorry this is so short, I've been super busy with school, but thank god, it's summer break in a couple of weeks. I got the idea for this because I was listening to House of Gold and thought of Lance and Keith dancing at 2 am deliriously, and it seemed so cute, so I wrote about it. I hope you enjoyed this concept as much as I did!}
