"Hey honey, are you free tomorrow?" mom asks from the kitchen.
"I mean, school hasn't started yet and Mel isn't here so I'm free aaaaaaaaaaaall daaaaaaay" I say walking into the kitchen "And really bored. Why tho?" I add opening the fridge.
"I'll tell you about that tomorrow, now why don't you come with me later, I'm going to go to meet the neighbors. You can use some socialization" mom suggests.
"Sure, why not" I agree as I start to pour some orange juice.
"Hey mom, I'm going to go to the grocery store first, the fridge is kind of empty." I say sipping my juice.
"Okay, just take some money from my wallet, it's in my room" she says pouring herself a glass of orange juice.

As I walk towards the grocery store I notice a pet shop from the corner of my eye. I love visiting them. "I'm going to visit them when I'm finished with shopping" I think out loud.
I buy milk, ice cream of course, and some other necessary stuff I eat on a daily basis even though they're unhealthy but who cares. I have only one life to live on this miserable planet anyway. Why should I waste it depriving myself from delicious food.
As I walk in the store with my shopping cart I call Mel. I accidentally bump my cart into some girl because I was looking at what to buy and didn't see her.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. Are you hurt?" I apologize and the girl just scowls at me. Well that was rude.
After I finish at the cash register I head towards the pet store.
As I enter the store I immediately notice the dog stuff on the right side. I go there and start looking around. There are a lot of dog toys and collars here. I love the colors. "Can I help you with anything?" an employee asks.
"No thank you. I'm just looking around" I say.
"Okay. Let me know if you need anything" he politely says.
"Will do" I say.
I look around for a couple more minutes. Well it's time to go home and be miserable about not having a dog, yet.

Lion's POV:
"Hey man, stop throwing dog food at me!" Mason shouts from the back of the counter.
I'm cleaning up a mess a dog did a while ago. These kinds of stuff happen a lot here in the Pet Store when owners come with their dogs.
"Okay I'll stop if you help me clean up this mess." I say pointing to the floor.
"I need to be at the register or someone might rob us" Mason complains.
"Fine." I say throwing the last piece of dog food at him and resuming my cleaning task.
After a couple of minutes a girl walks in the shop.
"It's Cherry" I say to myself as I hide behind the counter.
"What am I doing?" I ask myself silently.
"Yeah man, what are you doing down there?" Mason asks hearing my monologue.
I start 'cleaning' the floor with the broom that is in my hand."I-I'm cleaning, don't you see"
"Alright then, if you say so. I'm going to go see what that customer wants"
"Okay, good luck" I say acting nonchalant continuing my sweepage of nothing.
I start wondering to myself why am I hiding from her? I don't even know her that much. I've met her once, just once.
