Cherry's POV:
I've never been on a school trip before. Not because of my parents, because I'm not really into 'hanging out' with people I barely know. I know that all trips have like a party at the end to celebrate it, but I don't want to go. I have a feeling that Mel and the others will try and persuade me to go to it instead of moping around in the hotel room, or as I like to call it 'relaxing time' from all of the human interaction I would have on this school trip.
"Come on, faster now. The others are waiting" Miss Davis says, hurrying us because we are the last ones to come.
"There is time, don't worry" Miss Miller backs us up.
Miss Davis just scoffs and gets in the bus.
"We're coming, we're coming" Mel says putting her luggage in the bus.
I enter, looking for a empty seat.
"Cherry! Over here!" Lion says from the back row, catching my attention and making me stop.
"There are four seats, just for us." Mason adds as Mel enters.
"Let's go Cherry. Why did you stop?" Mel asks.
"Nothing" I take a deep breath and continue.
The trip is going to be long and me and Lion sitting next to each other is dangerous for my heart. I need to sleep half of the trip if I don't want to die from heart attack.
I sit next to the window because I like looking through the window on long trips and listening to music, pretending that I'm in a movie.
As the bus starts driving I turn to Lion to see him looking at me.
I cock an eyebrow "What? Is there something on my face?"
"No, nothing. I was just watching a wonderful scenery." he chuckles.
I start blushing. "Shut up" I hit him on the hand and chuckle.
"When did you become so smooth?" Mason asks, watching us amusingly and Mel starts chuckling.
"I didn't become smooth. I am smooth my entire life. My whole existence is smooth." Lion jokes.
"Suuuuure" Mason chuckles.
As their conversation continue I go into Dreamland, falling asleep on Lion.
"Cherry! Wake up!" I sense someone shaking me.
"We're at a resting stop. You were asleep for almost three hours" Lion says.
I jolt up wiping the hair from my face, looking like a zombie probably.
"Okay, listen up everybody! You have a fifteen minutes. If you don't come back after fifteen minutes, we'll leave without you" Miss Davis thunders.
"Let's go out for a stretch. I got a cramp sitting at the same spot for so long" Mel says, getting up from her seat. After her, Lion and Mason get up.
"Come on" Lion turns to me giving me his hand.
As I come to my senses I grab my sweater with one hand and grab his hand with the other. When we touch, shivers run down my spine and heat rises on my cheeks, making them crimson color.
"What took you two so long, hmmmm?" Mason jokes again.
"Will you stop it already?" I roll my eyes.
"Your cheeks are red." Mel states, raising her eyebrows up and down.
Lion and I just glare at them.
"Stop it. Let's go eat something. I'm hungry" Lion stops them.
"I hear Miss Miller say that there's a Mc'Donnys here. Let's go there" Mel suggests.
We all head there, Lion still holding my hand.
The hair strands on his forehead bop up and down with every step he takes, the wind making his curly messy hair even messier. I like it that way. The smile he has when he laughs at something Mason says makes my heart skip a beat. And in combination with his dark brown eyes, he looks gorgeous. Every time I look at him, dragons emerge in my stomach. I look at our intertwined hands feeling like I'm in a dream. I think that this whole trip will be like that.
We enter the McDonny's, order food and sit near the window to look at the bus so it won't leave us.
"So, when are you going to hook up?" Mason asks casually, eating his burger.
My eyes almost pop out of my socket as I almost choke on the drink I'm drinking.
Lion chuckles and taps me on the back to calm me down.
"Stop it, you're making them uncomfortable" Mel chuckles and hits him.
"I'm just stating the obvious. Look at them. They already look like a couple" he teases.
"How about you?" Lion fires back.
"Oh, don't worry. I'm good" he grins looking at Mel.
Mel giggles quietly and I stare at her.
"What? Mel? Why haven't you told me anything about this?" I ask, judging her and sipping from my juice, getting less and less embarrassed from the situation Mason put me and Lion in.
"I didn't have time, sorry. Plus both of us were busy with school and stuff. I'm really really sorry." she says apologetically.
"We'll have a private conversation some other time. I want to know all the details. Deal?" I ask.
"Deal" she says.
"Same Mason, or else" Lion says, doing a 'neck slice' with his finger.
We laugh and continue eating. The moment we finish we run to the bus because Miss Davis starts shouting to whoever is left to get in the bus.
The rest of the bus trip went by without any more hear attacks because, thankfully, I was asleep most of it.

"EVERYBODY! Gather around to hand you the key's to your rooms. It's two people in one room, you choose who you want to be with. But no funny business in there, are we clear?" Miss Davis thunders as usual when we arrive at the hotel.
"Yes Miss Davis!" everybody beams with excitement.
"Have fun kids!" Miss Miller shouts excitedly.
"Okay so, I'll be with Mason, you two can be together" Mel says, grabbing a key faster than the speed of light and dragging Mason to their room, leaving us in awe.
Lion and I look at each other. My heart starts beating fast at the thought of me being alone in a hotel room with him. I don't know if I should act like myself around him or I should try to be a better person. Fuck it, I'm going to be me. I don't want to be someone else.
"Well I guess we're in a room together" he says, grabs a key and grabs my hand dragging me to our room.
I smile. "Yeah"
Yep, I'm definitely going to die on this trip.
After settling in the room, both of us lie on the bed and go through social media.
"Okay this is boring, let's play a game." Lion suggests changing his position so he can sit.
"Okay. What do you want to play?" I ask sitting in the same position as he is, facing him.
"Truth or dare?" he asks.
"Sure, why not" I say, predicting what's about to happen.
On the inside, I secretly want something to happen between us. We're in a different country so anything can happen.
