Selena's P.O.V.
When Justin cussed it almost made my life. This is an exciting thing! I have a once in a life time opportunity. I have a chance to turn a prissy little church boy into a bad ass rebel. Should I pass up on it? I suppose it isn't a completely bad thing that he at least has something that he truly believes. But then again he did chose this. He wants to go out and party and do dumb shit. I almost forget he's a teenager under all that church boy.
It's still afternoon and Pattie has me cleaning her church school room. I wonder if she hits the students with a ruler. I wouldn't count that out. Or is that just a rude cliché thing to say? This room is really dusty and dirty. For a woman who has her house looking shinny and spotless she sure doesn't clean something she cares so deeply about.
Time to explore! That's right, Dora The Explora mode on.
I begin to dig around her desk looking for something interesting. Some might call this being nosy but I call this exploring, ya' know getting to know people better. There ain't no better way of getting to know someone than trying to find out their secrets.
Papers. Boring, boring, boring. Blah. There's nothing interesting in here. OH, pictures!
I grab the stack of pictures and sit down on Pattie's chair. Well let's see what we have here. I began to go through all the pictures. Most of them are family pictures and pictures of them with people in front of the church. But out of all of them only three caught my attention. I keep the three that caught my attention and put the rest back into the desk.
I lay out the three pictures in front of me. The first one has Pattie and Jeremy but not the way they should've been at that age. They both look really young, maybe sixteen or fifteen. They're not alone in the picture, another guy and girl are in it. Pattie is sitting on the guys lap and he has his arms wrapped around her stomach holding her close. Jeremy sits near them with a girl who has bright red hair. Her lips are against Jeremy's cheek. That's strange. Pattie and Jeremy weren't together when they were younger?
The second picture is of Pattie, Jeremy, the guy who I think was Pattie's ex and the girl with red hair. They are all in front of a big group of serious people. They're all striking a bad ass pose. I spot a guy I recognize behind Jeremy. He has a scar on his forehead and a cold look in his eyes. I remember him for some reason from some where.
The last picture isn't as confusing but I thought it was cute. Its of Pattie and Jeremy holding a baby Justin. They are standing in front of their house on the lawn. Their was a "Sold" sign which most likely means they had just brought the house. That's kinda cute. . . They all look so happy.
"What are doing?" Pattie yells at me. She looks down at the desk with wide eyes and snatches the pictures. "What are you doing with my photographs?"
'Uh," I mumble. Shit Selena quick think of an excuse. "Um-- they were dusty."
She looks at me confused and with uncertainty as she slowly shoves the pictures into her pocket. "Don't touch my things, Selena."
"Okay. . . my bad."
"Justin was looking for you. Run along child."
I don't hesitate to run out of the church. I didn't even realize she had walked in. Why would she get so mad about simple photo's? That guy in the second picture with the scar keeps coming into my mind. He's very so familiar. . . but from where?
I walk into the house and go straight to Justin's room. Instead of knocking like a normal person I just walk in. He's shirt less and has his back turned making his back muscles very visible. I hadn't noticed that before.
