Sam’s POV

Jake was in the kitchen before me but that isn’t normal.

‘What do you mean that you have ever drunk?’ Jake said.

‘I have never ever had alcohol’ I told him.

‘You mean you haven’t had a night out’ Jake said.

‘I have never gone to a party or had alcohol’ I said and walked out.

‘Remember you have meeting with Dr Fort’ Father reminded me and I cursed. I hadn’t gone to him as my old one was amazing and I don’t want to change. I hate spending an hour with someone that wants to discuss my problems and I have never met them before.

‘Do you want to join us afterschool?’ Cody asked when I got to school.

‘I have to go to some stupid councillor to discuss my problems’ I moaned.

‘Well then maybe someone can get some answers out of you. You aren’t really an open book’ Jake said approaching us from behind.

I scowled and punched him in the stomach. He doubled over in pain. I rolled my eyes before heading to Health. I was pretty proud of myself that I hadn’t run out of Health for a while. Jake walked into class moments after me and he was still in pain.

‘Today we are working with the person next to you to discuss what is the worst thing you have seen, this might be skin disorders or something else like an injury’ Mrs Wilson. I turned to Jake.

‘Last year I damaged my leg. The bones were sticking out. There was blood gushing out. You saw the video, I popped it back in place’ I said.

‘My Mother burnt all her back and it was peeling’ Jake said.

Mrs Wilson asked me the worst thing I have seen and when i said she didn’t believe her.

‘No, you are right. The worst thing I have seen is four people get fatally shot and blood pouring everywhere’ I snapped.

Dr Fort worked in a place fifteen minutes walked from school which is good as my appointment is twenty minutes after school.

‘You are you here to see darling?’ the lady at the desk said.

‘Don’t you dare call me darling. I’m here to see Dr Fort’ I snapped. I knew that Dr Fort is for people with really severe problems. The door opened and a girl walked out. I walked in.

Dr Fort was a young man about twenty five or so. I froze. He looked exactly the same as Daniel did when I saw him before I left Johnsonville. I sat down without saying anything.

‘So Samantha, My name is Dr Fort’ he smiled.
