Kiss in the rain

I don't think I've ever done a cute one so here's this.

BETTY'S POV
  Jughead asked me out on a date again. This will be the fourth time we've been out and every time I see him I still get butterflies in my stomach. We haven't made it official yet due to our other relationships. He likes me and I like him, so I hope we can make it official someday.

Our date is at 7:30 today. It's a Saturday so I didn't have to work which is better because I don't have to be in such a rush.

Around 6:00 I start getting ready. I hop into the shower for like 10 minuets. Then I pick something out. I never wear red so I was going to try it today. I wore a knee length tight dress and some dark red heels. I did my makeup to match my outfit and then did my hair.

I was just about done when I heard the door bell.

"Come in!" I shouted from my room.

"Hey Betts you ready?" He asks walking into my room. I was going to answer him but I saw that he was starting at me which made me blush. "You ok there?" I quietly ask.

"Yes you look, wow just wow." He answers blushing. I was relived when he sad that, for a second I thought I looked bad. A smile crept on my face before saying "are you ready to go?".

  When we get to the restaurant we have to wait a little because our table still wasn't ready. There were these waiting chairs in a separate room, so that were we are siting. While we were waiting I felt Jughead's hand slowly grab mine, I looked over at him and grabbed his hand to.

  We waited for ten more minutes after that, then we went to go sit at our table. We talked and talked and I had a great time. After dinner he offered to take me on a walk and I happily said yes. We walked out of the restaurant hand in hand and into the nice cool night.

  We had been walking for about an hour now and we were approaching my apartment when we stopped and turned to look at me.

  "Before you go I want to ask you something" I was kind of scared of what he wanted to ask me but I nodded as a sign that he should continue.

JUGHEAD'S POV
  Betty isn't my girlfriend.. yet. I plan to ask her tonight after our dinner date. Fast forward to after the date I ask to take her on a walk, she says yes then we are on our way.

  The whole walk we have been talking and I really want to ask her but I'm scared she'll say no. We were getting close to her apartment and I decided it's now or never so I stopped her.

  She nodded and I continued to talk, "I really like you Betty, and at first I was scared to admit that because I was scared to get hurt again but I know with you that will never happen so will you be my girlfriend?" I watched as her expression went from scared to exited.

  "Yes! Yes!" She giggled

3RD PERSON POV
  Betty leaned in to kiss Jughead and he did the same. As they were kissing it started to rain but they didn't plan to break the kiss, instead the kiss got harder and more passionate if that was a thing.

  After a while they had to stop because they couldn't breathe but they were both soaking wet, but they couldn't care any less.

  "Do you wanna stay the night?" Betty's asks, Jughead just nods and allowed Betty to take him up into her home.
