Bughead oneshots

Another day went by. He was still no where to be seen. She was worried sick now, it's so close to being two days since she last saw him, and she still hadn't gotten a message from him. She called him over and over again hoping that that time he would finally pick up. But every time she tried to reach him, it would go straight to voicemail. 

She started to think of everything bad that could've happened to him. To her dismay, something did happen to him. As she was thinking of things that could've happened to him, she got a phone call. 

"Hello is this Betty Cooper?" they asked.

"Um yeah, speaking"

"Great. Your boyfriend, I'm afraid has ben in a terrible accident and we're not sure he'll make it."

Her heart sank. No, this couldn't happen she couldn't lose him, not when the last words she said to him was that she hated him. 

"Uh, t-thank you, I'll be right down."

She hung up and ran as fast as she could down to the hospital. 

"Jughead Jones" she spoke to the lady at the front desk. 

"Um and you are?" The lady spoke rudely. 

"His damn girlfriend! Now hurry up and tell me where he is or I swear!" 

The lady gave her a dirty look but finally pointed towards his room. She burst in there despite what the doctors where saying. 

"Juggie! No!" 

After a while the doctors got her to calm down and told her what'd happen. "Ma'm two days ago he was found unconscious by the park. It's believed that there was an attempt at a robbery and they happened to take it too far. They were however, able to track down the robber and get what they had taken back." They doctor spoke as they handed Betty a black velvet box. She was too scared to open it, she was so scared she'd just lost the love of her life. 

Betty waited there for what to her seemed like days. But finally and thankfully, he woke up. "Oh thank God, Juggie" she ran to hug him, but stopped in her tracks scared to hurt him. "Betty, baby you won't hurt me come here." he spoke. Reluctantly she hugged him, scared that if she let go she'd loose him forever. 

"Love what happened, why'd they attack you?" 

"After our fight, I felt awful. I wanted to get you something, I wanted to show you how special you were to me. I left and I went to a jewelry store that was still open. I actually had it in mind for a while and I felt like even though we had fought, it was a good time to give it to you. Some dudes came up to me asking me for money and when I said no they attacked me and ran with the" There was a pause. "The ring. I wanted to propose to you and they ruined it." 

Betty was in tears. "Love, they got it back." And she pulled the box with the ring out. He took it out of her hands. 

"Betty, I'm sorry for what happened the other night. You are the prettiest, most smartest, most everything good, woman I've ever met and I'm so lucky to get to call you mine. Betty will you marr-" He didn't get to finish.

"Yes! Oh my god yes!"
