Fake Relationship

"Jug! Hey can I talk to you?" Betty asked.

For the longest Betty and jughead hated each other. The real reason for it was unknown, but whatever it was it wouldn't be fixed. That was until Betty came with the news.

"Can you do me a favor?" The blonde asked when Jughead finally stopped walking.

"No I can't, let me remind you. I hate you bye" he replied and started walking away. Before he left Betty used Jughead's biggest weakness on him. Archie.

"Fine I'll ask Archie." She slowly replied. She wasn't really going to ask him because she liked him and the whole reason for why she was asking for Jughead was to get Archie.

"Fine what is it? And it better be fast." Annoyed, he turned around.

"I need you to be my fake boyfriend " she looked at him and for the first time she had a look of fear in her eyes and not confidence she usually had. Betty loved Archie maybe a little too much, but Betty being Betty wanted to get the boy- next door all to herself.

"What why? And don't tell me it's because of the ginger haired kid." He asked. She looked at him with a sly smile, and simply nodded.

"Fine, but don't fall in love with me." He joked

She rolled her eyes "In your dreams, pretty boy" and she walked away.

They were sure that it wouldn't happen, I mean they hated each other. They couldn't stand to be near one another so yeah love wasn't gonna come in the way, or so they thought.

They needed to get to work fast and the first step was to make sure everyone new they were in 'love'. To make sure that happened they slowly started hanging out more and more. Going on 'dates' more often and calling each other pet names when people where around.

FIRST MONTH
By the end of the month everyone believed they were a thing but no one asked and they hadn't announced it either. Betty wanted to keep ur in they low to see if Archie noticed. Not that it ever happened.

They still hated each other like a lot, but it wasn't shown anymore almost like if they were actually enjoying it. But soon enough Jughead was getting tired of Archie not noticing.

"How much longer Betty? I'm getting tried and Archie doesn't notice anything" He whispered to her in the hallway. She just looked at him and didn't say anything.

"Then we have to announce it to them then. We made a deal and you can't back out now." She quietly said.

This time he stayed silent and he kept walking. On their way to class they noticed Archie staring at them both, Betty was quick to react a quickly grabbed Jughead's hand. He was shocked at first but then went with it as he saw Archie. As soon as he was gone she let go and they went their separate ways.

SECOND MONTH
They came clean and some people accepted it others, not so much.

For example Betty's mom. She really wasn't supposed to find out but news travels quickly in a small town like Riverdale. Alice wasn't okay with her daughter "dating" a serpent. Another person who didn't enjoy the news was Cheryl. She had the biggest crush on Jughead and everyone knew. But come on, it's Cheryl she gets what she wants.

"Well, well, well, look who it is. Riverdale's very own Betty Cooper." Cheryl said as she cornered Betty in the restroom.

Betty rolled her eyes and turned around "what do you want now?"

"You know what I want, and I'm going to get it"

Betty started to laugh unaware of what was
Going to happen next. Cheryl punched Betty repeatedly until Betty was on the ground.

She ran out of the restroom laughing at Betty who was lying on the ground. Betty got up and tried to clean herself but the pain was too much. Lucky for her Jughead was right outside when he heard Betty's cries.

He entered the restroom carefully making sure that no one was in there or anything. "Betty! Gosh what happened?" He asked.

She told him and he hugged her until she calmed down. And soon it ended and they both walked out without saying another word.

After that they never spoke of it again. Neither one of them wanted to admit what they felt in the restroom that one day.

Every single day they would make their way past Archie, they would just hold hands. That changed when Betty saw Archie coming their way. She quickly grabbed Jughead's face and pulled him down for a kiss. Jughead froze but started to kiss back. Perhaps they enjoyed it.

THIRD MONTH
They didn't hate each other so much anymore. When they were in pubic they talked and talked almost as if they had known each other for ages. But behind closed doors they didn't dare speak to each other.

Archie started to notice them. He kept trying to convince himself that he wasn't jealous, but he was always wrong. He decided to go for it, even though Betty was quote on quote taken, he was going to ask her out.

"Hey Betts!" Archie chirped.

Betty flinched at the nickname that rolled off his tongue. She didn't like it but she decided to ignore it. "Hey Arch, what's up?"

"Listen I know your dating Jughead but I like you and I want to go on a date with you. I know you had a crush on me and I'm sure it's still there."

Betty looked at him with a confused expression on her face. She had wanted it for so long but it felt weird hearing him finally say it. She ran off and never actually gave him an answer.

Later in the day she told Jughead about it.

FOURTH MONTH
Since then things aren't the same but yet again they were never normal. Archie and Betty started going on dates without Jughead knowing, well they thought he didn't know.

"I'm done. You got your date with Archie with my help so we finished our deal." Jughead spoke ready to walk away.

And that was it. It was actually done he walked out as if nothing ever happened. Too bad he fell in love with her in the process of it, now he just had to accept it. So he got his things and walked away tear- eyed.

FIFTH MONTH
Betty realized that dating Archie wasn't what she expected. It was honestly worse and she missed going on fake dates with Jughead. She was starting to find out she liked him she was just too stubborn to admit it. 

Jughead even though was slightly in love with Betty Cooper, started dating the worlds very own Cheryl Blossom. Betty wasn't too happy about it but she couldn't do anything.

They would occasionally bump into each other And she would try to smile but he didn't bother. Other times they would stare at each other but they were interrupted by their pair. So the other had to walk away sadly.

SIXTH MONTH
Jughead and Cheryl ended pretty soon. So did Archie and Betty. Both Betty and Jug started working at the blue and gold but they still didn't talk. Both of them had realized their love for each other, but they wouldn't admit it. They both had fallen deep for each other.

"I like you" Betty blurted out.

Jughead wasn't expecting it and to be honest Betty was shocked at herself. Silence spread around the room after she said that.

"I-I'm sorry I shouldn't ha-"

He stopped her before she could finish. He too liked her but he was scared to admit it because she only fake dated him to get Archie. Betty was about to continue but Jughead pulled her in for a kiss. Sure they had kissed before but it was only for show, this kiss was full of passion and want. It was a kiss they had both waited so long for.

"I like you too"

Well this is rushed and crappy
Sorry I can't update much I'm still on vacation and I haven't gotten inspired to write much

Also 'gone for good' part two is in the works but again I don't know what to write it about I need help.
