Bughead oneshots

Betty and Jughead have been a thing for a long time, well more like they have been a thing since Archie rejected her. That's what Jughead never noticed, Betty was just using him or at least that's what everyone thought. Betty and Jughead never let anyone or anything get in the way of their relationship, but Archie and Veronica had different plans for the couple.

Veronica called Betty into the blue and gold and she made her record something that she would later use against her. Betty didn't want to, as it would hurt Jughead but she was forced to. That had been going on for weeks, Archie and Veronica forcing Betty to do things for them, that again they would later use against her.

"Hey Juggie!" Veronica yelled, Jughead just rolled his eyes and kept walking.

"Don't try to ignore me, Jug I have something to tell you and it's about Betty." she said again. When Jughead heard Betty's name he stopped and turned around, a sign telling her to continue. She took out her phone and pushed play.

"Hey vee, I have something to tell you but please don't tell anyone. I uh, I've been using Jughead. I felt so bad when Archie rejected me so I asked Jughead out sort of like revenge on Archie for not wanting me. The thing is that it worked and Archie asked me out so now i'm kinda going out with him. But please don't tell anyone I trust you."

Then the recording stopped. Jughead had a hurt expression but it suddenly changed to mad. He thanked Veronica for showing it to him and he started to walk in the direction of the Blue and Gold, where he knew for a fact Betty would be.

"So when did you plan on telling me?" he asked.

Betty have startled because she didn't hear him walk in, "Tell you what?" she replied not wanting to meet his eyes because she knew what he was talking about. Betty knew what he was talking about, and she was scared she would lose him, even though it was evident she had lost him the moment Veronica showed him the recording.

"Oh I don't know maybe that you were using me all this time? Just to get back at Archie, oh and that he asked out of and you said yes?" Jughead almost yelled. Betty had tears in her eyes and yet she didn't want to answer him.

"It's um all t-true" she quietly said. She wanted to tell him but it was too risky, for all she knew Veronica could be outside the door listening to her conversation.

"How low can you get? I actually believed you loved me! I'm so stupid for ever trusting you! After this Betty, never talk to me again" he yelled again. He walked out of the room not wanting to see her face again. He walked out of school because he didn't care anymore he didn't want to see anymore in Riverdale. He couldn't deal with his life anymore, his abusive drunk father, and his now ex-girlfriend. He was sure that as soon as he left Riverdale she would get with Archie.

Betty lying and cheating on him was the last straw he needed to go away and for good. So he packed his bags and was ready to move away. He was going with his mom in Toledo, he had called her and she had said yes. It was Wednesday and he planned to leave Friday.

Friday came a lot faster than he had expected and it was almost time for him to leave. The past few days he had been skipping school because he didn't want to see Betty or Archie. He had gotten texts and calls both from Betty and Veronica but he never answered them.

Before he left he wanted to give Betty a note. Even though he hated her for what she had done he didn't want to just leave without an explanation. He got out a pice of paper and a pen, and started writing.

"Hey Betty, yes I hate you and I'm sorry for that I can't seem to forgive you for what you did. I'm leaving. I can't deal with this any longer, I gave you all my trust and you threw it away like a pice of trash. Even though I said I hated you I can't get you off my mind because i actually loved you. I know your with Archie now, and your not keeping it a secret. Have fun with him, I love you and bye"

He folded the paper put it in his pocket. Before going to the bus station he went to Riverdale High because he wanted to deliver the note personally.

He found Betty where she always was, the blue and gold. Because he didn't want to be rude he knocked before entering.

"Come i-" she didn't finish her sentence because she saw who was at the door.

"Jughead! Your back!" She yelled getting up from her seat to give him a hug. He took a step back because he didn't want her to hug him.

"Yeah But I'm leaving and I wanted to give you this in person" he Sad handing her a note. She opened it and read it, "your leaving?" Tears coming to her eyes.

"Yeah I'm leaving but u wanted to give you this" he says handing her the note, ready to walk away. And that's what he did, he got his things and walked away ready to forget his life there at Riverdale.

Betty was left there heart broken. She really loved Jughead and now she was losing him. Betty didn't use Jughead, she was black mailed by Veronica and Archie to do it. Archie loves her and Veronica loves Jughead, and they told her if she didn't do the recording or if she didn't go out with Archie they would do something to hurt Polly.

She decided that she wasn't going to sit and cry she was going to go get the love of her life. She examined the note, 'to where would he leave?' She thought. Then she got it, he would go with his mom in Toledo. She got her bag and started running out the door, making her way to the bus station.

"Excuse me, did the bus to Toledo leave?" Betty asked frantically.

"Yes it did, you can still catch up to it it has one more stop at another station before leaving." The lady at the front replied. Betty bought a ticket and got on the bus praying that Jughead's bus didn't leave.

She got off the bus and looked around, he had left. There was no trace of a bus or anyone for that matter near by. To make things worse it started raining, hard. She couldn't help but slowly fall down and start crying, she really did lose him.

"Betty?" A male voice asked, making her lift her head up. Even though it was pouring hard she was able to tell who it was, Jughead.

"Whoa, Betty! What are you doing here? Your going to get sick!" He exclaimed. He rushed over to her, bending down to be able to meet her tear-filled eyes.

"I'm sorry! Veronica blackmailed me into cheating on you because she loves you! And Archie said that if I didn't date him he would hurt Polly! I never wanted to do this to you I'm so sorry! The recording was fake, I didn't want to get my family hurt but I ended up hurting you and I'm never going to forgive mysel-" she didn't finish because he kissed her and couldn't help but to kiss back.

"I forgive you" he spoke in a calming voice.

"You do? Why I did horrible things and you didn't deserve them. Plus I made you miss your bus." She said with a small chuckle at the end of her sentence.

"Because I love you, and I wanted to miss the bus I can't live without you Betty"

"I love you too Jug" She replied a smile forming on her face.

He reached for her face and kissed her. They sat there in the hard cold rain holding onto each other.

They both confronted Veronica and Archie, and they both paid for what they had done both to Betty and Archie. As for Betty and Jughead they never let anything get in their way of happiness, and like they always say they lived happily ever after.
