"What your crazy!" Betty whisper-yelled at Veronica in the hallway.

"What? It's an easy way to make 4,000 dollars, what do you say?" Veronica replied making her way down the hallway.

"I'll do it" she said, they shook hands and Betty made her way to Jughead's locker. It was an easy bet right? All she had to do was ask Jughead out ( the loner weirdo of the school ) then she just had to date him for 5 months. Boom 4,000 easily won.

"Hey your Jughead right?" She asked

Startled by her sudden question he jumped a bit, she giggled. Confused, he looked around making sure something bad wasn't about to happen.

"I'm Betty, Betty Cooper. You caught my eye a while ago, I guess what I'm trying to say is if you'd like to go on a date with me?"

He turned to look around again. It wasn't always that the popular girl asked him the loner, out. But it seemed real so he gave her a small smile and answered.

"Sure, tomorrow Pop's 6:30?" He asked. She smiled and nodded. They exchanged numbers and she walked away to her next class.

Betty got her tray and made her way to her normal lunch table. As she was walking to it she passed by Jughead's table, he was alone.

He saw her and waved, kindly she waved back and continued to walk to her table. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad.

"It was so easy, I just went up and went for it. I think I'll take cash." Betty spoke as she sat down. "He was a little skeptical though, but he got over it. It starts tonight at 6:30" she continued.

"Well B if you can make it for 5 months I'll gladly give you the cold hard cash."

6:30 was around the corner, which meant Betty had to hurry up and get ready. She wasn't going to try too much after all to get it wasn't a real date, as rude and selfish as it sounded she was doing it for the money.

She put on a baby blue romper with some white slippers and her normal tight ponytail.

Just as she was done applying the last coat of mascara she heard a knock downstairs. "I leaving mom! I'll be home later!" She yelled.

She opened the door and saw him. He cleaned up pretty well, she thought. "Shall we go?" He asked. She nodded and then they were off.

The first date went pretty well. They seemed to get along just fine. They talked as if they had known each other for a long time. To him it was the first time he felt truly happy, too bad she didn't feel the same.

The first month. Things were going great for him. After like two dates he asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes. He was happy and she pretended too. Gosh she was already counting her money. They had their first kiss too, too bad it was all an act.

The second month. Betty was starting to get made fun of for "dating" Jughead. Not that she cared, she just wanted the money. Jughead was happier than ever, they would go on dates every Saturday and she made sure she didn't miss one date.

The third month. Jughead had to move to SSH due to us foster family living on the SouthSide. Things started getting rocky. She was falling for him, something she promised she wouldn't do. One day she was on her way to SSH, (as they had rescheduled their date to Friday due to some serpent stuff) when she saw him talking to some other girl. She instantly felt a ping of jealousy, but she needed to convince herself that she didn't cause cause she didn't like him.

The fourth month. They had their first fight. It was over Emily Garner a SouthSide serpent. It was too late and she had fallen for him, so when she saw her flirting with him she got mad and made a scene. He got mad at Betty too saying he'll never do something like cheat. She didn't believe him so he left. She hated admitting it but the fight hurt her so bad.

The fifth month. She had done it. They fixed their problem a few days after their fight, and after that the night was filled with kisses and cuddles. Too bad their five month anniversary had come around.

He was on his way to give Betty his gift. Her favorite book signed by her favorite author, not to mention he also planned on saying his 'I love you' that day. But that's when everything went downhill.

He reached the blue and gold office and was about to enter when he heard, what sounded the Betty and Veronica fighting. He didn't want to invade their privacy but he hard his name and that's when he started listing.

"No veronica! I don't want your money! I don't want to hurt Jughead!" She yelled.

"Take it! The plan was that you were going to date him five months and then dump him! A deal is a deal you have to do it!" Veronica protested.

That's when it hit Jughead, Betty was dating him for money not cause she liked him. The door opened and they both saw him their heartbroken. Veronica saw him, smirked and walked out.

"P-please tell me it isn't true." He pleaded. She couldn't lie to him anymore so she stood their tears running freely down her red cheeks.

He couldn't believe her, he dropped the book and ran off to the exit if the school.

"No Jughead come back! I love you!" She yelled although it was no use.

He heard her, he heard the 'I love you' and he so badly wanted to believe her, but not as badly as he wanted to say it back.

Hey so I've been gone for a long time, I apologize but I haven't been as inspired as I used to be to write.

Also I got the IDEA from another writer but I forgot their name, credits to them.

I'm not going to be doing a part two for "gone for good" I didn't find inspiration and I gave up I'm sorry.

But if you want a part two to this I promise I'll make one.
