-3rd Person POV-

The young woman stirred in her deep slumber with a silent groan escaping her parched, pale lips. Discomfort was what she felt all over her aching body which was enough to awake her. Her head that hung low. Slowly, she blinked, closed her eyes, and blinked again. Sticky mascara stuck her eyelashes together.

"H-Huh..?" (Y/n)'s husky and quiet voice croaked out. She tried to stand up on her feet but suddenly retracted backwards with force.

Rattling of metallic chains echoed throughout the dusty and faintly lit up room as she tried to stand. She looked up and tilted her head to the side, confused.

"W-What..?"

Her hands were chained up to a wall, the chain tightly secured around her wrist. She looked down at her feet and studied the chains that locked around her ankles.

These chains restrained her down, preventing her from standing.

'Where am I? How did I get here?'

Other than the noise of some generator, the room was a silent concrete box. Looking down she realized she was still in that dreaded cat costume. She reeked, her tights were torn and little scars were on her arms and legs along with smeared dirt. Her hair matted and tangled together like a tumbleweed, and her boots weren't on her feet anymore.

She became aware of the situation she was in. Panic surged through her body as thoughts flooded her mind like a tidal wave. She frantically began looking around the environment.

(Y/n) craned her neck for a window, a door or perhaps a trap door. Maybe she could find some way out of the chains and escape- unfortunately there was none. To her knowledge, there was no exit in sight.

She had no idea where she was or how she got there. For all she knew she could be deep underground, in some random room in a isolated prison or in someone's personal cell, she could be part of some experiment and will be tested on. This only frightened her more. Terror pumped through her veins.

Above the only source of light was an old fashioned bulb on a bare white wire and its switch was nowhere to be seen. The light barely illuminated a few diameters in the surrounding area.

She strained against the metal chains, blood running over the chains and down her hand.
She was chained up in some unknown location, still in her Halloween costume, with no clue as to why, how or when she got here. For all she knows she could've been here for hours, days, weeks or months.

Memories of what happened before leading up to this waking moment whiplash in her mind. She was at a Halloween party hosted at Bart's place, she witnessed Bart kissing Jessica, she ran out of the house and into the rainy night and ended up running into trouble at the park where she was inevitably kidnapped.

It was her own fault.

Could had this been avoided? Most likely. If only she had been careful, if only she thought things through. This could have all been avoided if she only listened to her friends true words about the reality of Jessica and her true, cruel and manipulative nature. The sudden burst of social popularity invaded (Y/n)'s mind and allowed it to manipulate her into becoming some puppet that Jessica controlled. (Y/n) had fallen for Jessica's trap; a trap that could have been easily avoided. If only she thought rationally.

Jessica manipulated (Y/n), she changed her into the person that she was not. (Y/n) ruined an amazing friendship with Lisa, the only girl that was ever (Y/n)'s true friend. She chose popularity over friends. That's something Lisa could never forgive her for.

Her actions had serious consequences and now she was here, serving a punishment in which she deserved. Her stupidity lead up to this moment. If only she could change it all back.

Negative thoughts consumed her mind and she found it hard to focus, all these thoughts rushing through her mind like traffic in a busy city that never sleeps.

'Where am I?'

'How did I get here?'

'How long have I been here?'

Each thought increasing her crippling anxiety even more than the last.

'How long will it be here for?'

'Am I going to get hurt?'

'Am I going to die?'

"If only.." She muttered under her breath, a cascade of tears trickled down her dirty face that was still caked with makeup. A heartbroken sob tore through her chest and came like an uproar in her throat.

A sudden sound of a door bursting open and slamming against the wall echoed throughout the basement. The thundering sound startled her out of her skin, instantly sending her view to the other side of the room to locate the source of the noise.

"You're finally awake I see.."

A mysterious figure stepped into the dim light.

"You have no idea how long I've waited for this day.."
