A sharp volt made Marlon wake up in a sudden panic. He panted harshly, and his lungs began to hurt. He was confused by what was going on. He took a look around the room he was in.
  This wasn't his bedroom.
It was a dark room surrounded in strange machinery. He wasn't alone though. He looked to see a young man in front of him, who he recognized.
  "Alfie?"
  "It worked, it worked!"
Marlon's ears were a bit sensitive. He tried to cover him, but he realized he was strapped to a table.
"Wh-What the hell? What's going on?" Marlon mumbled.
  "You don't remember?"
Marlon shook his head. Alfie sighed.
"Of course you don't. Alright well, in short, you died two days ago, and I didn't want you to die, so I stole your corpse and reanimated you back to life."
Marlon's eyes widened. "WHAT?!" He struggles in his restraints.
"Hey, HEY!" Alfie shouts. Marlon stops to stare at him. "I know you're freaking out, but you should appreciate what I did. You were mutilated, I stitched you back together!"
In a panic, Marlon stared at his arms and legs. There were huge stitches along the joints. In fact, there were a lot of them. Marlon breathed heavily. "Are you crazy?!"
Alfie's eyes widened. "I just wanted my best friend back. Is that too much to ask for?"
"So you took my corpse and electrocuted me??"
"To bring you back! Wouldn't you have missed me? What about Samantha?"
"Don't you dare bring her into this!"
Suddenly, a pair of footsteps could be heard. Marlon looked towards the small doorway.
It was Samantha. Her petrified face said it all, her blonde braids all tangled. Marlon's eyes widened when he saw her. "Samantha?"
  "M-Marlon?"
Alfie walked over to her. "You know she missed you, didn't she?" Alfie began to playfully squish her face as her tears fell down. Marlon began to get pissed, tugging on his restraints.
  "Get away from her!"
"Or what?" Alfie pulls out a knife, and takes it to Samantha's neck. "Will you save her?"
Marlon tugged on his restraints, and rammed into Alfie. The two young men fought and fought, before Alfie was tossed towards the window. Marlon looked out the window in despair.
Alfie was gone. He killed his best friend.
He gripped the window tightly, attempting not to cry. Samantha touched his shoulder, causing Marlon to flinch. Samantha slowly turned him around to look at her.
His face was stitched quite a bit, mostly the area under his right eye. She couldn't help but sob, and she pulled him into a hug. Marlon nervously hugged her back, but he hugged her tightly.
Her boyfriend was back, and he would protect her, no matter what.
