(Becomes gross, heads up)
Those stupid rats were running all over the place again. Ella has enough already.
See, Ella didn't turn out the way she wanted to. She thought she would be rich and get married. Didn't turn out that way. She's still with her stepfamily. She's still poor. And she's still cleaning.
And they still called her Cinderella.
She was pissed at the world. She worked for days in the basement, when she wasn't called up at least. Ella hated her life. She thought the prince could save her, but he barely recognized her. And he lost the shoe.
Honestly, what good would he be if he only knew you by your foot size?
She swept the floors heavily, sweeping away the rats. Or "mice," she never knew the difference. She thought they could be of help too. They can't even speak. She wanted to run away, to actually do things on her own. But that never happened.
She finished sweeping and she decided to head to the kitchen for a beverage.
She went up the stairs and turned the knob.
  It was stuck.
She kept budging on the door, but nothing.
She started to panic, and she called for help.
No. Not again. I need to do this on my own.
Before she could find a window, a rat climbed on her foot. She screamed, and multiple rats came about to grab her. She fell to the floor.
In an instant, she was covered in rats. Unable to scream, she attempted to move. The rats, they were all over her.
  She started to feel pain.
The rats began to dig into her skin through teeth and claws. Blood was spilling everywhere.
Ella wasn't able to breathe properly. She passed out minutes later.
And that's how fairy godmother turned her into a Frankenstein-like monster. At least she didn't have her step family anymore.
  Because she killed them.
