Mariah walked around the dirty old building. The castle was not fun- it was huge, but gross. There was junk and dust everywhere.
But she knew that she had to find sometime for the house. She was supposed to sell it by tomorrow. Probably no sane person would want it though. Even the gargoyles were creepy.A few hours later, and Mariah found too many violations. Feeling defeated, she decided to keep the house off the market. She was going to make sure it was demolished and rebuilt. She began to walk back to what she thought was the exit.
It led to a dead end.
Weird, she could've sworn that was the door.
She decided to turn around and take a right.
No exit.
She walked and walked.
Still no exit.
What the hell?
She checked her phone for the time, but it was dead. Even though last time she checked it was at 87%.
She was super confused. Where was this exit?
She heard a loud screech and she made a run for it.
She could see something in the distance, but she kept going.
Suddenly, a large gargoyle was in her face, screeching. She screeched back and ran the other way.
Gargoyles began to chase her, and she kept running. Eventually, she ran into a room and slammed it shut.
She turned around to see a large beast like creature hiding in the shadows. It growled at her, causing her to run out.
She found a set of stairs and climbed up. She ran, panting along the way.
As she ran, she realized there was another creature following her. The large creature was a dark blue, with fins and gills. She kept running.
At this point she stopped, and she turned around. She was too out of breath to continue.
A lot of monsters were out now. They glared at her with malicious smiles.
One of them, the largest one from before, reached for her head with its large hand.Mariah screamed, and she woke up instantly. The therapist held her hand to keep her calm. It was another one of these nightmares that kept popping up. Monsters would chase her endlessly, with little to no regard for her.
As the therapist attempts to calm her, Mariah looked to her left to see a small gargoyle, with bright red eyes. She screamed more.
