Alissa and the girls picked Devon up in a rush.
"What the hell happened?" Vivian yelled.
"Well..." Alissa began. "Devon just got possessed."
  "What?" Ivy replied.
Malena looked at the mask in her hands.
"After I put the mask on, I started to burn. And then it went to black," murmured Devon.
The six girls could hear Tristan barking outside, but took no notice.
Suddenly, Malena felt a sharp pain and dropped the mask. The girls backed up as a wall of fire rose. They stared as the fire turned into a woman.
A woman with large horns, red eyes, and sharp teeth.
Vivian turned away, and Malena kept an arm around her. The other four stared.
"Now girls, it's not polite to stare. It's 1927, behave!"

All their eyes were suddenly closed, but they couldn't open them. Ivy screamed as they all tried to open them.
  "Shh, relax."
The girls could hear a loud screech. Vivian's eyes opened, and she kicked Madame Lacey.
She dragged her friends out of the kitchen.
Their eyes began to open slowly, but surely.
  "GET BACK HERE!"
They all ran upstairs, except for Devon, who went to save Tristan. Madame Lacey– or at least a more horrifying version of her– was beginning to catch up. Devon got Tristan up the stairs before Lacey grabbed her ankle and yanked her down. Devon screamed. Alissa ran out and grabbed her arms.
Alissa dragged Devon upstairs, and they slammed the door shut.
The girls were having an argument over how to get rid of the monster.
  Vivian eventually suggested witchcraft.
Oh here we go. Into a large creepy book hiding in Vivian's bag.
