Chapter 11-Master

Wayne's pov

"Master found them."

My face palmed immediately the moment I heard those words. "F-found Who?" I desperately hoped that it was not my friends their sick master had found. "Your friends. And the boy we need." Alden smirked. Yep, spoke too soon. "Not so high and mighty anymore, huh?" Alden was obviously rubbing it into my face. 

"Alden shut up. We have to go aid master." Jacckie said harshly. "Aid him in what? He's fine on his own." Alden quickly protested. "No. He's our master for a reason. We have to help him." Jacckie was firm on her decision. Thinking about it, I never seen how this master person looked like or anything. And it seemed Jacckie cared about him.

I shrugged as I watched them both fly out in their jet, praying that my friends would not die.

Chernoa's pov

I looked at Xander as he unrolled the map. 

"Now. This Jacckie person. She has been hunting me down since this apocalypse started." Xander started.

 "What,why?" I asked.

"I don't know either. But there is this specific person they listen to. They address him as 'master'. He is obviously very powerful, so Rie and I are assuming that he is the one that started this whole apocalypse thing. The exact reason why we do not know. But this map. I think it tells us the location of the master's base and headquarters. If we manage to take down his base and stuff, he will be left with nothing. So we can ultimately defeat him." 

I nodded slowly at Xander's lengthy explanation. "What else do we need to know about this master we are going up against." Chyann piped in.

"The master has three lackeys. Or servants as he likes to call them." Rie started talking. "Wait, three? I thought he only had two? Jacckie and some other dude." Lionel interrupted her, earning a glare from Rie.

"Yes I was going to get there. Now the master has three servants. Jacckie, Alden and Charmaine. They are highly skilled in different aspects. Jacckie is skilled in combat fighting. Alden is a marksmen and is good with explosives. Charmaine is good at far range battle and poisons. And Chernoa, what is your relationship with Jacckie and how did you come to know about her." Rie finished, looking at me.

"We were best friends. You see, our team were sent out to find a cure for mankind so that we can live and survive. And one day while we were searching for the cure, Jacckie appeared and started attacking us. I didn't know it was her until I removed her mask. She claimed to not know me. A few times I saw guilt and worry in her eyes but they usually flashed back to nothingness. I used to be able to read those eyes so well, but now they're cold and void of feelings. It's like I lost her." I said sadly.

"Yea, you can't trust anyone working for the master now. Sorry about your loss." Xander shrugged, he did not sound sincere at all but never mind. "It's okay. I'll wait for her." "Don't. She doesn't want you anymore. It's pointless to wait for her to acknowledge you again." Xander said as a matter of factly. I did not say anything.

"So here's the plan-what the" BOOM! The top of the cave exploded. "What the hell!" Xander shouted. "My father built this place!" A fully clothed figure with a mask hovered above our heads and we saw a girl holding a bazooka. "Shit that's the master! And that's Charmaine. Get your weapons people!" Xander shouted. 

"Xander my dear boy. You can't run, neither can you hide. Why not surrender yourself to me?" The master's voice was deep and scratchy. Telling from his voice he was about in his forties??? And suddenly two more figures appeared beside him. Alden and Jacckie. Shit. Full scale battle this time huh. 

"Woops mind me." Alden smiled as he casually dropped a grenade into where we were standing. "SHIT EVERYONE OUT OF HERE! CHERNOA GET THE MAP!"  Xander quickly shouted as everyone scrambled out of the base, hands clutching weapons while I grabbed the map and folded it up, placing it into my pocket before jumping safely out of the way of the grenade. 

When we were in safe approximate, Xander quickly explained what was going to happen. "I'll take the stupid master dude. You guys go fight the lackeys kay? Rie you aid me from a distance." After a brief explanation, we readied ourselves for battle.

"Guess this is goodbye." Chyann said jokingly.

"Oh shut up." 

A/N: sorry this chapter is kind of a filler but issok chapter 12 will be better I swear vote and commenttt
