"All of you! Let them get away! How utterly disgraceful! Especially you, Jacckie. Getting knocked unconscious by the enemy? I thought you were better than that!" The Master snarled, cracking the whip at Jacckie's flesh, while the other 2 could only stand at the side and watch.
"You let the prisoner get away. You let them into the base—fine! But you had to let them take the prisoner away! Maybe this pubishment serves as a lesson to ALL OF YOU!" The whip mercilessly eating away Jacckie's flesh. Fear emanating from the other two who were watching.
Slowly Jacckie started feeling the numbness in her body, the pain slowly washing away as she slipped into unconsciousness. 'Thank god....' she thought.
3rd person pov
"Soo what do we do with a Time potion?" Chyann looked at the blue liquid with curiosity. "Drink it?" Wayne suggested. "Are you crazy? What if there are side effects?!" Rie smacked him on the head. "Look at the diary! We found a diary in the safe too!" Chernoa pulled out a tattered book from the vault. "Okay, open it and find anything related to potions and zombies!"
Turning open the diary, Chernoa read out,
"18 April 2005,
I have finally discovered the secret to time travelling! The potion I have created is the key to travelling through time! The person who drinks the vial of potion will acquire time travelling powers. I, however, have not tested it out, for I fear of the side effects it may cause. Thus I have stowed it away in a vault, hoping it would not fall into the wrong hands."
"I would like time travelling powers." Chyann mumbled.
"Okay we'll let you drink the potion later but please read the 2010 diary entries." Xander requested.
"Geez okay, calm down."
"8 February 2010,
My brother has gone mad. He bursts into my home while my son is asleep and tells me to create a virus. A virus that will turn people into zombies. He tells me it is for world domination, so he can have the world to himself. He threatens to kill Xander, should I disobey his wishes. I have no choice but to create the doomsday device—the virus that will wipe out mankind."
"Well shit that's fucking bad." Chernoa comments after reading the entry.
"17 March 2019,
After 9 years of research and experiments, I have created the virus. My brother instructs me to release it tomorrow. Not only have I created the weapon to destroying mankind, I have also created a machine. A crown to control the minds of a zombie. Should my brother lay hands on it, the world is certainly doomed. The crown is in a chest, hidden in my safehouse, the key I handed to my son, for safekeeping.
Surely, there is a cure for this virus. Yes, there is.
I have injected the cure into my son's blood while he is asleep. As cruel as it sounds, he can save the world, if my brother is gone. With this final entry, I pray that my sins will be forgiven, for creating something as evil as my own brother."
For a moment, nobody spoke.
"The cure... is in... Xander....?" Rie breaks the silence, throwing a worried glance at her cousin.
"So my dad injects the cure in me and he wants me to die to save mankind by bleeding me to death?" Xander's expression was unreadable.
"Well... there is an alternative method... we could just draw a little bit of your blood and extract the cure then duplicate it. So you won't nrrf to die!" Rie says smugly.
"Sounds better than death." Wayne points out.
Nobody's pov
"Nobody in the safehouse. Search for the chest master wants." Charmaine tells Alden as they start to walk around, searching for the brown chest. "Is it that?" Alden points at a chest. "Yep. Let's go get it and quickly go back before they return." Charmaine grabs the chest and runs off with Alden.
"Suckers."
