You see, I like two girls at school, Reina and Megan. To be honest, I like Reina more than Megan. I know, I know, it is sort of like cheating on your crush if you like another girl. But, the thing is I only truly like Reina, she is my true crush. Reina is the girl who stole my heart. Reina is the girl who makes me feel warm inside. Reina is the one and the only girl who I really like.

How about Megan? Believe it or not, despite she being the most popular girl in seventh grade, I don't really like her that much. The only reason I "like" her is so that whenever someone asks me who I like, I would just say "Megan" when it is actually Reina. Why I don't want to tell people I like Reina? It's just, I feel like if I tell people I like Reina, the other boys will start to like her too and "steal" her from me. But, Megan, is already popular so even if I say I like her, the boys would be like "Pfft, obviously" and they wouldn't question me. I don't even know why the rest of the boys like Megan, I mean ya, she is pretty, so does everybody else think so, Reina, I'll admit, she isn't the prettiest girl, but she is smart and nice to everyone. Megan acts nice and funny, but she just wants attention, Reina is friendly and funny by heart, which is what I like the best about her.

Anyways, it's been about 4 months, since people found out that I "like" Megan and it's been 4 months since I started liking Reina. Apparently, people started to find out that Megan likes me, so rumors went around, that me and Megan should "get together". And as usual, Megan made a huge scene when the rumor got to her. She tossed her hair and screamed with her friends in the halls. *eye roll

I was walking down the stairs for fifth period, Spanish, while thinking of what to talk to Reina about. Last time, I was in Spanish class, I barely talked to her and just talked to my friend sitting in front of me, I totally regret that. What a jerk I was, I should have talked to her, instead of leaving her. Just then, I heard a familiar laughter behind me. I turned behind me to see Reina walking down the stairs with Rachel. Reina's laughter always soothed me, like a lullaby.

I settled in Spanish class and waited for Reina to appear in front of the classroom door. There she was, talking with another friend of hers. She walked up to her seat, next to mine and said hi. I said hi back, jeez, I sounded so stupid. She sat down and took out her notebook and pencil, then silence. I tried to think of a conversation starter, but nothing. Just then I saw her doodles on a corner of her notebook's page. It said "WDW" in block letters, WDW stands for Why Don't We and is a boy band, which we both knew. In fact, she introduced WDW to me, in the first place, back in sixth grade.

"You still like WDW?" I asked trying to hide a chuckle.

"Yup, always have and forever will," she said with a confident grin. I couldn't help but smile.

"I hate WDW," I said teasingly, I wanted to see her reaction. As soon as I said so, her mouth turned into an 'O' shape and her eyes widened. I loved her facial expressions, they were always so cute.

"How could you? They're the best boyband! Besides, I thought you liked their songs," she replied, defending WDW. I was curious, is WDW her celebrity crush?

"Lemme guess, one of the boys in WDW is your celebrity crush," I said still goofing around. She smiled and shrugged. Her always-pink-cheeks turned even pinker, I sighed, so cute.

"Maybe..... Jonah Marais is my celebrity crush," she said tapping her pencil on the desk.

"Jonah?" I asked, with a crack in my voice. Jeez, there goes my voice crack, ruining my crush moments. Apparently, everyone heard my voice crack and laughed, especially Megan. She was laughing the phoniest and loudest laugh in the class. Reina wasn't laughing, but I could see she was trying to hide her giggles.

"Ya, Jonah," she added, with a little adorable gigglish voice.

Then Spanish class started with the teacher starting us off with a few vocabulary lessons. Halfway through the lesson, I glanced over Reina. She was doodling in her notebook instead of writing down the vocabulary. Good ol' Reina and her creative juices. I wrote "Doodling competition?" in my notebook and nudged Reina for her to see it. She looked up at me and nodded with her 'competition face' on. We spent the next 3 minutes just doodling and showed off our doodles to each other afterward. She drew a bunch of cute emojis with little quotes. She peered at my notebook and started to giggle softly. I drew a huge circle with a tiny face, and a speech bubble that said "Hello Potato". I literally had no idea, why I drew that, just thought it was sorta funny. As Reina started to giggle, I also chuckled along. I loved the moments where we will laugh together, her cute high-pitched lullaby-like laughter and my deep laughter.

The bell rang for sixth period, which was English. That meant being able to walk to English class with Reina with a good excuse. Even if I wanted to talk to her, as usual, her friends went up to her and they started to chat. I sighed, I walked in front of Reina and her friends, not too close and not too far, so that I could listen to their convo. They were talking about WDW, I rolled my eyes but, to be honest, I couldn't wait to look up "Jonah Marais" to see what kind of person he is.

I plopped down in my seat in English and started to think of some kind of smart convo starter. I starred at the door, waiting for Reina's arrival. Reina entered the room with Rachel, just like always. She came to her desk and put her hand on her chair. Just then I had an idea to put my leg behind the chair so that the chair wouldn't move. Reina tried to jam her chair out, but when she found out the cause, she looked at me annoyed. I chuckled and pulled my foot back.

"Haha, very funny," she responded, as I went on smiling. She seemed annoyed, but I could see her little dimples under her eyes going up, in a smiling gesture. I found out 3 months ago, that her small dimples under her eyes will go up when she was trying to hide her smile.

There were 3 minutes before English started. I tried to look for a convo. Just then an idea popped up.

"Hey, how tall are you?" I asked trying to sound normal.

"Uh, 158 cm or something," she answered, "you?" I smiled.

"162 cm, shortie," I responded.  Her nose crinkled,

"Why you gotta be so tall?" she started to complain. We always have this convo. I will ask her how tall she is and I will tell her I was taller than her, it will always annoy her. I don't know why but I liked annoying Reina, her annoyed face with her little crinkled nose was the cutest. And even if she makes her annoyed face, I will always know she was actually trying to smile with her dimples.
