{ Silver's POV }

It was 2 days after the incident with Bella and James, and I was hanging with the pack again.

I had lit up the bonfire at First Beach and Embry led the way down with the pack, including Jacob who was one to watch now over the summer, now that school was almost over, and summer was coming.

I smiled and Embry plopped himself down next to me and kissed me quickly. "Hey." I said and he smiled.

"Are you two like a thing now?" Jacob asked from where he had sat behind me. "What would you qualify us as Leah?" I asked the only other girl in the 'pack' so far apart from Emily.

"A definite thing." And I smirked. "Sam?" I asked. "A thing." The Alpha said. "Paul?" And he just sniffed. "Yep." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Jared?" Embry asked. "I'm going with our leader over there. You're a thing. Officially a thing and it is unfortunate. We're already out of room." He said and I punched him in the gut hard.

He winced and I chuckled.

"Who's entertainment?" Sam called and immediately everyone turned to me. "Alright! But who brought the guitar?" I asked and Sam chuckled and threw me a microphone. I caught it automatically. "Karaoke?" I asked and he nodded, his eyes laughing.

"I hate you guys." I said and inhaled sharply, my silver eyes seemed to glow in the darkness, enhanced by the flames of the roaring bonfire.

Falling too fast to prepare for this

And I coughed lightly and the cheers went up. "Who was that by?" Jacob asked. "Seriously Jake? It's Imagine Dragons!" Jared said and punched him in the gut. I rolled my eyes.

"What's next?" I asked and they began shouting stuff out. "Alright!" I said.

I coughed and sat next to Embry again.

"I'm done."

I said and he smiled and wrapped his arm around my shoulders.

My phone rang and I saw that it was Bella. "Hey." I said, walking away from the rowdy group of Quiletes.

"Can you come to the hospital?"

Bella asked, sounding weak.

"Alright. I'm on my way." I said and hung up and saw Embry behind me.

"I'm sorry. Bella needs me at the hospital." I said and he nodded in understanding. "It's alright. But remember you need to think about yourself to." He said and I nodded.

"Don't worry. I will." I said and kissed him quickly and jogged away, racing to the hospital.
