The other girls started talking about life and such things. I sat in the far end of the tub, thinking about how it took so long for the rest of my class to defeat the mud beasts. They weren't that hard.
Thump. Thump. Thu-thu-thu-thu-thu-
"Before you become a hero, learn to be a good human!" I heard Kota yell. He slapped a small hand, and I watched it disappear over the side.
"Mineta really is the worst, huh," Asui said.
"Thanks for that, Kota dearie!" Ashido smiled. "We owe you one!"
I watched as he fell over the edge. "Uh, do you think he's okay?" Jiro asked.
"I bet someone like Iida or Midoriya caught him, so I'd say we're good," I replied. "I'll see you all tomorrow,"
"You're going to bed already?" Uraraka asked.
"Well yea, we have a long day ahead of us," I replied. "Besides, there's something I really need to work on,"

The next day, we met outside at 5:30. I asked Mr. Aizawa what the crap we were doing, and he hadn't spilled anything. It made me frustrated.
"Bakugo. Throw that," Mr. Aizawa threw him the ball. "Your record was 704.3 meters from the beginning of the year,"
"I bet he can throw it a kilometer now," Sero said.
Bakugo stepped up and chucked the ball, explosions bursting out of his hands. "KUTABARE! (GO TO HELL)" he yelled.
"709.6," Mr. Aizawa said."With the various encounters, you've improved mentally and techinically, and sometimes with stamina. But, your quirks haven't changed much," he explained.
"So from today, we begin improving quirks! It'll be so hard it'll feel like dying, but don't actually die," Mr. Aizawa said with a creepy smile on his face,
"What the hell," I said.
Mr. Aizawa walked us over to the training grounds, and we all split up. I stood on top of a huge mountain. Mr. Aizawa had told me to work on controlling my fire, but I had something else in mind. I was freezing the ground, and at the same time trying to use my fire. I saw large explosions, a pile of tape, and yelling.
I saw class 1-B come out of the woods. A guy with a small ponytail looked dead already. Tch. So weak. I sent up a wall of ice, then went to unfreeze it. Why couldn't I do it? Why wouldn't it work?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We all arrived at the building again. Pixiebob and Ragdoll had set up ingredients for a curry, and were jeering at us. I payed no attention, and watched everyone else be dead.
Iida started mumbling like Midoriya, then declared "LET'S MAKE THE MOST DELICIOUS CURRY IN THE WORLD!"
"Okay..." everyone said halfheartedly.
"Todoroki, can you light a fire over here too?" Ashido asked. My brother walked over to her.
"If you keep relying on other people, you'll never be able to do it yourself," Yaoyorozu said as she made a lighter.
We spend the good part of an hour cutting food and making curry.
"ITADAKIMASU! (thanks for the food)" we said before digging in. I swallowed down a few bites and turned around as Jiro smacked Sero's face. I couldn't help but laugh.
As soon as I had finished, I retreated to the girl's room. Ashido and the others came up not too much later.
"Hey Todoroki, the guys are having a pillow fight!" Ashido said. "You wanna spy on them?!"
"I'm not a pervert. The heck why would I want to see people hit each other with pillows?" I asked. "I'm going to sleep,"
"Aww Todo you're no fun," Ashido said. She hit me with a pillow before taking a few steps back. I glared at her, walked over to the closet with spare pillows and futon sheets, and chucked a ball of pillows at Ashido.
"Happy now?" I asked as I returned to my bed.
"Fine..." Ashido said sadly. I crawled into my futon and pulled my blanket over my head.
"Come play with us!" Hagakure said, yanking it off. I rolled over and groaned.
"NO," I said.
Jiro poked me with her earphone jack, and I had about twenty pillows come down on me.
"YOU ASKED FOR IT!" I yelled. I grabbed a pillow and started smacking Ashido with it.
"NOW IT'S A REAL PILLOW FIGHT!" Hagakure said happily. For half an hour, pillows and feathers flew across the room.
"Hey Uraraka, Ashido, don't you two have extra lessons?" Asui asked.
"Oh. OH NO I FORGOT!" Uraraka half ran out the room. I poked my head out and saw her slide open the door to the guy's room, then run down the stairs with Sero and Ashido.
"WORK EXTRA HARD, BECAUSE TONIGHT, YOU'LL ALL BE PITTED AGAINST EACH OTHER IN A TEST OF COURAGE!" Pixiebob said happily.
Stupid test of courage, stupid quirk improving.
I yelled as I shot ice and fire into the mountainside. Then it sank in what I had just did.
I had used both sides at the same time.
Oh.
OH.
OH.
I looked down from the elevated ground. Ojiro and Kirishima gave me a thumbs up. Shoto signed "good job" to me, which started to make me wonder when he had learned it.
I continued working both sides, both of my quirks until Mandalay called us back to the lodge for dinner.
"Holy crap Yuki," Shoto said. "I didn't know you could do that,"
"I didn't know I could do that," I replied.
"That was great," Ojiro said, his tail sitting on his shoulder. "I didn't think that was possible,"
"You think?" Kirishima winked. Even though both of them looked tired as hell, they managed a smile.
I smiled back. Because you know what? I was standing next to my three favorite people in the world.
