Enter All Might

Shoto and I arrived at the same time the next day. Iida was sitting at his desk already, reading a book. I wish I had that free time. Then I remembered that I did, now. 

I sat down at my desk and pulled out a book. I spend about half an hour reading before...

"I HAVE ENTERED LIKE A HERO!"

All Might flew into the class room.

"Can it be?" A pink-skinned horned girl asked.

"ALL MIGHT!" We all said at once. I feel like everyone in our class idolized him.

"All Might?" Midoriya asked. "What are you doing here?"

"I am a teacher here, young Midoriya!" He said. "Class, we will be doing battle training!"

The front half and the right side of the room whooped. Shoto, Yaoyorozu, Tokoyami, and I stayed silent, as we should.

"You all will receive your costumes today, based on what you asked for." All Might continued. "They are in briefcases marked by your seat number. Meet at ground beta in 1 hour with your costumes!"

I was the first person out. Looking down at my costume, I checked for everything I had asked for.

One, white long sleeve that wouldn't rip on my left, and a long, red glove on my right that wasn't flammable. Not that I would use that side. Tight, black shorts, and periwinkle boots adorned my legs. A temperature regulator served as a backpack.

"Yuki... that looks nice." Shoto said as he walked out.

"Rejecting dad, aren't you?" I asked as I noted his left side. 

"I refuse to play with fire." He replied. I smiled.

"As stubborn as always." I said with a smirk.

As the rest of class 1-A joined us, I instinctively made my way behind everyone.

"So based off the course..." Iida was talking to himself. I laughed.

"Yes, we are doing an indoor battle training!" All Might said from the front. I mean I was the one not paying attention but what? "... in pairs of 2!"

Everyone started talking at once. I could hear Bakugo ask if he could just blow everyone up.

"Now now, I won't be able to understand you if you talk at once!" All Might's booming voice rang out. "You will either play heroes of villains. The villains are hiding a nuclear core that the heroes must find before it's too late. The heroes win if they reach the nuclear core or if they catch the villains. The villains win if they catch the heroes or guard the nuclear core until time expires! And, we will be choosing pairs by lottery!"

"Is that really how we do it?" Iida asked. Midoriya whispered something into his ear. "I see... with our eyes on the future... I apoligize..."

"Let's get this thing started!" All Might said.

Somehow, Shoto and I ended up on the same team.

"The first team that will go against each other is... hero team A and villain team D!" All Might announced. "The scenario starts with the villains in the building. After five minutes, the heroes will be let in. Everyone else will watch from various surveillance cameras. Of course, we will cut this short if things get too out of hand."

As Iida and Bakugo entered the building and Midoriya and Uraraka got prepared, the rest of us filed into the surveillance room.

I mean, being me, I immediately pulled out a book and started reading. When I looked up, Bakugo had blown up part of the building. Blinking, I shut my book and tapped Shoto on his shoulder. "What happened?" I whispered.

"Bakugo pulled a maneuver and pulled an amazing move." My brother replied boredly.

I sighed. "Are you ever going to acknowledge the fact that you aren't the only person with lots of firepower?" I asked him. Shoto glanced at me.

"AND THE HERO TEAM WINS!"

"I think the MVP of the match is... young Iida!" All Might declared. 

"Didn't the heroes win though?" Asui asked.

"Can anyone tell me why?" All Might asked the class. I slipped my fingers into Shoto's. He gripped them tightly. "

"Yes, I do, All Might sensei." Yaoyorozu said. "It's because he was the most adapted to the situation." A silence followed. "Judging by their movements and attacks, Bakugo and Midoriya seemed to be fighting a battle from the past. Also, Uraraka's last attack was too reckless. What if that was a real weapon?"

"True..." I heard someone mutter.

"Iida knew that the battle would be close to the core." Yaoyorozu continued. "Though he was too slow in the last attack, calling the hero team's victory would be too nice in this training."

A long pause followed. Everyone was stunned by Yaoyorozu's observation-heck, even I was.

"That is correct!" All Might said. Even he sounded shook.

"We should start with what we know." Yaoyorozu explained. "If we don't cheer on our classmates with all our being, we can never become top heroes."

"AND NOW THE SECOND BATTLE WILL COMMENCE! TEAMS B AND I PLEASE MEET AT GROUND BETA!"
