"We've filled our bellies and washed the dishes! What's next?!" Pixiebob asked happily.

"TEST OF COURAGE!" Ashido said happily.

"Ah sorry, but the extra lessons group is coming with me to study tonight," Mr. Aizawa said.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"

Mr. Aizawa pulled away the six who had failed. The rest of us were teamed up in pairs.

Tokoyami and Shoji

Shoto and Bakugo

Kirishima and Me

Sato and Yaoyorozu

Asui and Jiro

Hagakure and Ojiro

Iida and Midoriya

Kirishima and I walked into the woods three minutes after my brother did. I later heard that Iida and Midoriya never even made it into the woods.

We were spooked by Ragdoll at the halfway point, and had just encountered our third jumpscare.

"Doesn't it smell weird?" Kirishima asked me.

"It really does," I replied as we walked down the path. A pinkish colored smoke rolled over our heads. I watched as Kirishima sank to his knees. "Ki..Kirishima?"

I pulled my shirt over my face and yanked Kirishima to his feet. "Kirishima, are you awake?"

Kirishima nodded, but it was obvious that he was fighting for consciousness. Maybe this smoke was a vaporized sleeping drug or something. I dragged him to the far side of the path, where the pink gas wasn't as dense.

"Todoroki?" I saw Yaoyorozu running towards us with Awase.

"Yaoyorozu! Awase! Thank goodness you're here," I felt a wave of relief wash over me.

Yaoyorozu handed me a bunch of gas masks. "Put that on," she instructed. "And if you see anyone in need of them, give them the extras,"

"Thanks," I said as she and Awase ran off.

I clicked my mask on before I did Kirishima's. I then heaved my half-conscious classmate onto my back and ran back the way we had come.

CRACK

A burning branch fell down in front of us. Blue flames licked the dry wood. That would explain the smoky smell. But now our way back to the clearing was cut off. I sighed, hoisted Kirishima onto my back again, and turned around.

What if there were more villains out there?

Was anyone actually safe?

Were we going to die?

Where was Ojiro?

Why was I thinking about Ojiro?

"A NEW FRIEND!" I heard a high pitched voice yell. "A normal, cute guy!"

I followed the sound of her voice. Normal and cute... who could they be referring to?

"I WANT YOU!"

I crashed through the bushes as a blonde haired girl wearing a high school uniform flung Ojiro towards the treeline.

"TODOROKI!" Ojiro yelled as he balanced himself out with his tail.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO ME FRIEND?" I shouted angrily at the girl. I let Kirishima slide off my back, and took up a fighting stance as Ojiro stared at me blushing.

"Oh look, another friend!" the girl smiled happily. "I'm Himiko Toga, nice to meet you!"

I heard a sickening crack and watched as a second girl stepped out of the woods. Ojiro lashed out his tail at her.

"Himiko... you left me behind again!" she complained as she ran at Ojiro again. The billowy sleeves of her crimson kimono flew out behind her, catching the wind. They seemed familiar, but I couldn't put my tongue on it.

"Hiya, you know you move too slow, especially since you can't see," Toga said. "Hiya, I got these two,"

"Fine," the girl named Hiya said sadly.

Ojiro and I circled around Himiko as she smiled sadistically. "Well well well... who should I take out first?"

I ran at Toga. She ran back at me, knife in hand. I ducked as it flew over me. "What do you want from us?" I asked her.

"Well... I mean all we're here to do it get Bakugo and you, then kill Midoriya and Todoroki, and make sure none of us get caught,"

"My brother is on your KILL LIST?!" I screeched.

"So who cares?" she asked, her smile getting bigger by the second. "Well, maybe I'll kill the monkey first then,"

She threw two knives at me that pinned me to a tree. One of them had only caught my shirt, but I couldn't say the same for the other. It buried itself in my arm. I let out a cry of pain.

"Todoroki!" Ojiro started toward me, only to get intercepted by Toga. She played with him as I worked to rip out the knives. Finally, even though I ripped off my sleeve, I got rid of the first knife. Anger boiled up in side of me as she sat on top of Ojiro, playing with his tail. I yanked out the second knife and ran at Toga once again.

"YOU LEAVE HIM BE!" I yelled, my voice an octave higher than it should be. Toga jabbed at me. I blocked with the knife, then froze her to the ground.

Toga merely shrugged, before throwing something off of her back at Ojiro. "Wha-" Thin tubing flew across the clearing.

The gas was starting to enter this clearing too. I cursed under my breath as I flew at Toga and cut the thin tubing. "If you want blood, go get some from the hospital. Geez,"

I threw a gas mask over Toga's head to Ojiro, who caught it with his bad arm. He winced, and his shirt started staining red.

"You're so pesky," she said as she threw another knife at Ojiro, then one at my face. I froze it inches away from my face.

I felt a little jolt. "STUDENTS OF CLASS 1-A AND 1-B, THE PRO HERO ERASERHEAD GIVES YOU PERMISSION TO ENGAGE IN BATTLE!" Mandalay's telepath echoed through the forest. I groaned Now, we get to fight? Why couldn't it be before? "ALSO, ONE OF THEIR MOTIVES IS TO CAPTURE A STUDENT NAMED KACCHAN. KACCHAN, IF YOU ARE IN THE FOREST, STAY WITH OTHER STUDENTS AND TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM THE VILLAINS!"

"I'll go now... I don't want to die yet," Toga said, and the trotted away.

"Ojiro, are you alright?" I asked.

"I'll... be fine," he said, grimacing as he rolled his shoulder.

"Stop moving it, it's making it worse," I told him. I put my hand on his shoulder and covered it in a thin layer of frost. "Ojiro, I want you to return to the clearing. Grab Kirishima-he's laying somewhere over there,"

"What okay," he said. "What about you?"

"I have to go find my brother,"

"Todoroki no," Ojiro reached out and touched my shoulder. "I can't let you go,"

"Why?" I asked.

"Because... I don't want you to die,"

I looked at Ojiro. "I'm sorry, but there are more things are important to me than my life,"

Ojiro shook his head. "Your life is the most important thing in the world,"
