"Ronnie it's already midnight. I think it's time to get you home." Robert tells me.

"I don't want to confront Marilyn or Hunter. I hurt both of them."

"Who are they?" He asks.

"My mom and my friend."

"Do you mind telling me what you did to them?"

"They were both trying to calm me down, but I went all haywire on them."

"Ronnie, I have to get home already. You have to get home also. I'm sure your family is beyond worried, searching for you."

"Then leave. You think I need you?"

"Please, Ronnie."

"Fine!"

It was another twenty minute walk home. When we arrive there was a cop car on the driveway.

Marilyn is pacing back and forth on the porch.

"That's your mom?" Robert asks.

"Yes."

"Let's go."

I take my time walking to her. She hears our footsteps and turns quickly.

"Veronica! You had me worried." She says, pulling me into her arms.

Once she pulls away she tells the cops to leave.

We hear someone clear their throat.

"Marilyn, this is Robert he saved me, unfortunately."

"Saved you from what?"

"You two talk about it, I'm going to my room." I say entering the house.

Ivan's truck wasn't on the driveway, but Hunter's car was. They're both probably looking for me.

I enter my room, pulling out some pyjamas from my drawer, then head over to the bathroom to take a shower. I couldn't even take a regular shower seeing as I was on my knees the whole time clutching onto my head because it hurt a lot.

'That idiot stopped you from being reunited with your father, but now you have time.' The scary voice in my head says. Making me scream out in pain and agony.

'Do it! Do it now! Before It's too late!'

"Fine! I'll fucking do it!"

"Ronnie! Open this door now!" Marilyn shouts, loudly knocking on the door.

I step out of the shower and pull out my medication. Opening the pill bottle I take out a handful of them. Just as I was about to take them I'm stopped by the door breaking open.

"Ivan, you and Hunter get out of here." Marilyn orders.

'Stupid bitch!' The scary voice in my head shouts.

I feel mom take the pills from my hand, then wrap a towel around my naked body. Flinching when I feel a pinch on my arm. I start feeling drowsy and fall into Marilyn's arms.

~~~~~~~
The next day I wake up with a huge headache.
'What the hell? Where am I?'
I'm in a hospital.
Just as I was about to get up I feel something on my wrist.
I was handcuffed to the damn railings of the bed.
Couple seconds later in walks Marilyn, Arthur, and a cop.
"Why am I handcuffed!?"
"To prevent you from running away." Marilyn answers.
"Do you remember what happened yesterday?" Arthur asks.
How could I not? I tried to commit suicide four times.
"Why is there a cop here?"
"We're doing this for your own good baby." Marilyn says, crying.
"Doing what exactly?!"
"We're sending you to a psychiatric hospital."
"You're what?!"
"It's for your own good." Arthur says.
"Mom, you can't do that! Please don't make me go!" I cry only making her cry harder.
"I'm so sorry baby, but you have to go." Marilyn says, hugging me but I push her away.
"Making me go to a psychiatric hospital is only going to make me crazier."
"It's going to help. I promise." Arthur says.
"Don't say it's going to help. You don't know shit."
~~~~~~~~~~

Marilyn bought me my old worn out dress and converse.

"You ready?" She asks.

"How can you do this to me mom?"

"After what happened yesterday I just don't know what to do with you  anymore."

"And you seriously think shipping me off to a crazy hospital is going to make me better."

"It's only for a couple months."

"How long are these couple months?"

"Nine months. They'll be cut shorter if they see a change in you."

"Nine months! Dad would turn in his grave if he knew you were doing this."

She starts crying.

"Stop crying. You're only making a fool of yourself."

The cop from earlier walks in.

"The van is here."

I looked at my mom one last time before heading outside.

There's a white van at the front entrance.

I don't bother saying goodbye to anyone because I'm filled with so much anger towards everyone.

As I was about to get on the van I see the reflection of Hunter on the window. I quickly turn, he's really there.

He's looking at me with sadness filling his facial expression.

I run to him and hug him tightly which he returns. His face is buried in my neck while I cry into his.

"I'm going to miss you, Veronica, a lot, but know that I'll be waiting for you."

When we pull away, he wipes the tears from my face. I feel someone tug on my shoulder, it's the stupid cop. That's when I decided to look at mom and Ivan one last time. Sure, I'm mad at them, but I still was going to miss them.

"See you later." Hunter says.

"See you later." I repeat.
