"When do you think you'll be back?" Hunter asks me as I pack a new suitcase.
We arrived at the house a couple minutes ago. Jonathan and Miranda are both downstairs, waiting, getting to know Marilyn more. Hopefully she doesn't tell them about my conditions.
"I'll be back by Saturday."
"My apartment will be ready by then. You'll spend the first night there with me, right?"
"Yes, we'll paint each others nails while telling scary ghost stories."
All of a sudden he picks me up placing me over his shoulder. The whole time I was laughing like an idiot.
"Put me down Hunter!"
"Fine." He gently lays me on the bed only to climb on top of me, kissing me at the same time, when his kisses reach my neck the feeling of sensation was gone all because Ivan pulled him away.
"Don't you know how to knock?" I scold, Hunter comes back to my side.
"The man of the house doesn't knock on any doors."
"You're not the man of the house, mom is, now get out."
"Okay, but hurry up, your friends have to get going." With that being said Ivan leaves.
"I'm going to miss you." Hunter says, hugging me tightly.
"Me too." I say burying my face in his neck, placing light kisses, like he always does.
"If you feel homesick call me, I'll be over there in a second."
"That's impossible Hunter it's a two hour drive."
"You know what I mean, loser." He said, ruffling my already tangled hair.
Hunter takes my suitcase, with his free hand he takes one of mine, leading us downstairs.
Marilyn immediately indulges me in one of her tight hugs.
"What was that for?" I ask pulling away.
"This is going to be the first time you're going somewhere on your own without us. I'm beyond worried."
"I was alone at Timberlawn."
"That's something else. You were with trusted people. Today you're leaving with a bunch of strangers."
"Jonathan and is fiance are trustable, don't worry mom."
"I put your medication in your purse just in case."
"Thanks."
She then gives me a huge kiss on the forehead. After saying bye to Ivan it was Hunters turn. It's hard saying goodbye to a person you love more than life itself.
"Make sure to text at least every second." He says.
I laugh at his protectiveness, but nod.
"Call any chance you get."
"Okay."
"Please come back as you are, don't come back with any tattoos or piercing."
"I'm too much of a wimp to do something like that."
"I know."
"Then why did you tell me?"
"Just making sure."
"I wish you could go with me."
"Next time, I promise, but for now my apartment needs to be ready, afterwards we can spend all the time together there."
