chapter 5

Cheryl walked down the hallway of Riverdale High, alongside her cousin and best friend. As she was heading to her first period, she spotted Jason walking up to Toni and watched as both of them exited the building. Cheryl was curious and wanted to follow them but knew she had to stay for her classes. She went to her first period class and sat down.

Toni only just walked into the school building minutes after Jason did. The only thing is Jason got away with it because he's some big shot jock at Riverdale High. Toni was sitting in Principal Weatherbee's office, spinning around in his office chair as she awaited her superior.

Principal Weatherbee finally came in and sighed as he saw the serpent girl spinning around in his own chair. "Why are you in here Topaz?"

"Oh.. Some dumb ass teacher sent me here cause I was supposedly 'skipping class' when I really wasn't so I argued with her about it just for the fun of it." Principal Weatherbee rolled his eyes at the pink-haired girl.

"You need to stop causing trouble. When are you ever going to give me a break. It's only been 30 minutes into the school day." Principal Weatherbee argued as he looked at Toni's office referral that his secretary handed him just before he met with Toni.

Toni smirked at him. "C'mon Ms. Topaz. I'm taking you to class." Principal Weatherbee commanded.

Toni got up and walked out of his office beside her principal. "So how's your day going, Waldo?" Toni asked her principal with a lit up face.

"My day is going well, Ms. Antoinette." Toni nodded as they arrived at her classroom door.

Principal Weatherbee knocked on the door and waited for Toni's teacher to answer. She finally opened up the door, and let Toni in. Principal Weatherbee informed Mrs. Wilson that Toni had been with him and she nodded.

"See ya later, Waldo." Toni said to her superior as she walked into her English classroom. Weatherbee rolled his eyes and turned around.

"Goodbye, Ms. Topaz." He responded.

Toni walked into her classroom and noticed the certain redhead that she so badly wanted to hook up with. Toni noticed that all the seats around her were taken and went over to the desk beside Cheryl's.

Toni looked at the boy who sat at that desk and slammed her hand down on his desk, making a loud noise, causing the class to all give her attention. "Scram. This is my seat."

He looked at Toni with little fear in his eyes, "B-but T-Toni you sit in the b-back." The boy stammered.

Toni mocked his exact words in a asshole type of way, "I said scram, kid. This is my seat now."

He grew more afraid of the serpent and quickly packed his things up and headed to where Toni use to sit.

Toni smirked as he walked away and whispered to Cheryl as she sat down, "Hey, gingersnap." Cheryl grew nervous and pushed up her glasses as she ignored her, giving her attention back to the teacher.

The bell rang signaling the end up the period. Cheryl got up and quickly and rushed out the classroom. Toni of course caught up to her and wrapped her arm around Cheryl's shoulder as she walked her to class.

Cheryl's heartbeat raced at the touch of Toni. "Toni."

"Do I make you nervous?" Toni replied quickly. Again with that question, Cheryl thought.

Cheryl cleared her throat and rushed away from Toni to her class. Toni satisfied with how things were going, smirked as the redhead practically ran away from her nervously.

Toni, Jughead, SweetPea and Fangs were all sitting inside the booth at Pop's diner when a pair of twins walked in. The ding of the bell caught Toni's ears and out of curiousity, she turned her head to see who it was. Toni laid her eyes on Jason then shortly after, noticed Cheryl and kept her gaze on her. Jason walks in and tells Cheryl he'll be right back. Jason walked over to the gang of serpents that sat in the diner while Cheryl went up to Pop to order their food. Toni turned her head back to face her best friends. Jason looked over his shoulder for a moment to make sure that Cheryl wasn't listening or paying attention.

When he noticed she wasn't, he continued his approach. "How are things going?" Jason whispered to the serpents.

The four all looked up at him. "It's fine, boss. We'll let you know if we have any updates. Your father and Mr. Lodge are the most powerful in Riverdale, it's hard to take them both down." SweetPea said as he whispered that last sentence.

Jason nodded at the gang. Toni listened to their whole conversation but instead focused her eyes on the beautiful redhead that stood by the counter. Toni looked up at Jason and stood up from the booth.

"Excuse me, Jason." Toni politely commanded.

Jason nodded and moved aside so that she could get out of the booth. Toni began to walk over to Cheryl when Jason grabbed her by the wrist, pulling the serpent girl back.

"What do you think you're doing, Topaz?" Jason asked in a serious tone.

Toni looked at Jason's embrace around her wrist then brought her eyes back up onto the ginger boy standing in front of her.

"I'm going to talk to Cheryl." Toni responded. "Why? What have you got anything to do with her anyway?"

"We're partners for a project, I had a question." Jason knew Toni was lying because he damn well knew her reputation and knew she didn't give a single fuck about school.

Jason let go of the girls wrist and leaned in beside her ear to say something in an almost whisper, "Don't bring Cheryl into this. Cheryl can never know about this, it'll hurt her too much. She's my little sister and all I want to do is protect her. Also, I know your reputation Toni. Don't mess with my sister and corrupt her with your ways. You hear me, Toni?"

"I hear you." Toni confirmed.

Jason nodded and let Toni approach Cheryl.

"Hey, red." Toni said as she stood beside Cheryl.

Cheryl turned her head and looked at Toni. "Hi, Toni." Toni moved closer to Cheryl.

"What you doing tonight, sweetheart?" Toni asked the redhead.

Cheryl grew nervous as she always did when she was around Toni. "I- Um. Studying." Cheryl replied nervously.

"Why don't you join me?"

"Join you what?"

"Just join me at this spot I love to go to. My special location. I could use the company later after the gang goes home." Toni told Cheryl honestly.

Cheryl sighed contemplating on whether or not to agree to meet up.

"What time?" Cheryl finally spoke.

"7 pm. I'll pick you up at your house." Toni commanded.

Cheryl nodded. Why was I agreeing to this, again? Why couldn't I just say no to the hot serpent in front of my eyes?, Cheryl thought.

"See you soon, gingersnap." Toni said as she walked away from the redheaded girl as the she noticed the redheaded boy approaching.

Toni went to sit back down with her four friends as the Blossom twins exited the diner with their food. Toni was kind of excited to actually hang out with Cheryl for real. Toni knew that she wanted Cheryl's body and couldn't wait for some skin on skin action. But she knew, with Cheryl... She had to gain her trust in order to get what she really wanted.
