Chapter 19: His Favorite Dish

I'm in Jayden's house right now. We went to the grocery before going here. All I can say with this house is WOW! His house is very clean. He said he doesn't have a housekeeper because in his home (Australia) his parents taught them how to do household chores. The house is perfect for a guy who lives alone. Not too big, not too small. 

Jayden went upstairs to change so I went to the kitchen and started cooking. When I was about to boil the pork I took a peek outside and it’s raining. How am I supposed to go home later? Before that I should finish what I'm cooking first.

I'm already done cooking and looks like the rice is already done too so I got a bowl to pour the Sinigang. Going to the dining room, I saw Jayden arranging the spoon, fork, glasses and plates. My jaw automatically dropped. OH MY GOSH! He looks very hot. Jayden is wearing a blue plain fitted undershirt and plain white pajamas mixed it up with his wet hair. Someone wake me up!!! Jayden called me out; did he notice  I was staring at him? It's so embarrassing. I placed the food at the table, we sat down and started to dig in.

I stared at Jayden's face when he tasted the Sinigang. I'm nervous, didn't he like it? Is it bad?

"So how does it taste?" I asked with my voice shaking. He suddenly looked at me with a serious face. Oh my! It tastes bad I can feel it.... I can see it on his face.

"It’s perfect just the way I like it too sour!" He smiled

"Really?" I asked in relief

"Yah, it’s delicious. I think you should be my chef instead of my PA" he laughs

"I could be both you know? I mean we eat dinner together every night at my house. Just tell me what you wanna eat and I'll cook it" I told him with a my usual happy face

"Really?! You mean it?!" He asked excitingly

"Of course"

"Okay I'll just increase your salary"

"No need, you said it yourself, what are friends for?" Is the word "Friends" right? Whatever Liana!!! haha

"Thank you Ana! I love you!" he shouts like a kid 

I almost spit my food because of what he said! Now my heart beats three times faster. Dammit!

After eating I saw Jayden's plate and bowl, its actually clean it doesn't need to be washed! Just kidding of course it needs to be washed. So Pork Sinigang is his favorite. We're already done cleaning the dishes and the table. It’s already 8:30pm I need to go home. 

I'm ready to go home but when Jayden opened the door its already flooding outside.

"Great! How will I go home with this rain and flood?!" I said

"You can stay here for the night Ana" Jayden said

"That’s very kind of you but I think I'll just take a cab"

"If you can get any, there are no cabs in this village and besides tomorrow is a Saturday so no classes"

"Okay" I said, one way or another I have no choice because the rain is heavily pouring. Honestly I'm not disappointed, I don't know but I feel safe whenever Jayden is around.
