Chapter 32: Jerome's Purpose

After I confirm that I and Jerome are cousins, I immediately pulled Ana at the parking lot. I lean at my car looking at the ground and Ana is just looking at me, but before she could open her mouth I exhaled.

"So you know Jerome huh?" I started

"Yup.... Jerome, Chantal and I were bestfriends back in high school" Ana said

"Is that all?" I asked her

"I'm not going to lie to you Jayden..." My heart begins to beat fast "Back then I had feelings for Jerome when we were in third year high school, because in this very school he was the first guy who treated me as a girl that’s why I developed feelings for him even though I know that he is a Casanova, Jerome was my first love" My heart ached with those words. 

"What happened to you two?" I keept on asking

"I confessed my feeling for him, but he rejected me" Ana laughs sarcastically "But we never let that issue ruined us, we still became bestfriends so I can stay by his side. Until one day, one week before the end of the school year, when Chantal and I went to his condo for a surprise visit to hand over our gifts to him because he said he was sick and that day is his birthday " Ana went to my side and also lean at the car "But instead of surprising Jerome we were the one who were surprised by him"

"Why is that?" I ask again

"We saw Jerome with two other girls. They are classmates of ours. They were all naked and the two girls are moaning until we got their attention." Ana exhaled "After that scene I never had a chance to talk to Jerome and I never got to see him even at our senior year... He left me and Chantal; some said that he went to Australia. I was angry at him not because of the scene with those two girls but because he left without saying goodbye. Back then I was hurt because at that moment I still have feelings for him" 

After hearing that my heart hurts so badly. So Jerome already met Ana before me and the painful part is Jerome is the first love of Ana.

"Do you still have feelings for him now?" I asked in the middle of nowhere

"I don't know, I haven't think of that for a long time but if I still have feelings for Jerome I won't be owned by a jerk superstar right now" I never got to see her expression because Ana hugged me tight and she buried her face on my chest, at that moment I was relieved. "You're the one I love" She said. When I heard that my lips formed a smile and my heart is jumping in happiness. Well who wouldn't be happy? Hearing those words from the person you love. I'm glad Ana is being honest with me. 

"Come on Ana let’s eat, I haven't got time to eat because of the talk show" Ana removed herself from my chest and I started to pull her hand so we can head to the cafeteria. 

"Did you watch the talk show?" I ask her while we are walking

"Yup, your last answer is the cheesiest thing I ever heard" She said while laughing

"Didn't you like what I said?" I pouted 

"I never said I didn't like it, I just said it was cheesy" She smiles while looking forward without looking at me "In fact I love it, it was cheesy but it was the sweetest thing that I heard in my life" She added. Sh*t! Ana's face is turning red! I held her chin and I kissed her on the lips. I can't help it! Seriously! My kissing monster disease is active whenever I'm with her. 

Almost all of the students we've passed through are looking at us and I overheard some students while going to the cafeteria:

"It really is true! Look at them Uuuuh Jayden and Liana!" student girl 1
