Chapter 43: The Set Up

I didn't expect to be nominated as the representative of Polscie as the Jingle Bell Ice Queen. Is this some kind of a joke? I'm infront of the bulletin board looking at it, making sure that my name is just an illusion. I thought that our representative will be either Relina, Ella, or even Elissa... Chantal can't be a candidate this year because she’s the reigning Jingle Bell Ice Queen.

"So it’s true you're the candidate representing political science" Jerome appeared behind my back

"Yeah, I can't believe it..... The candidate of this event should be beautiful" I said out of the blue

"That's why you're perfect to be the candidate" I heard him whisper.

"What did you say?" I pretended I didn't hear him say that.

"Nothing, I said you're right" Jerome replied with blushing cheeks. "JR and that drama princess are representing our course"

"I know" I said

"Are you okay with it?" He asked me

"Of course I'm okay with it, in fact I don't want to compete with them I don't even want be a  candidate, so if they want to be the king and queen be my guest because I don't plan on winning" I said, Believe me or not I'm okay with it really because this kind of thing is not my forte.

"Are you free right now?" Jerome asked to change the topic "I had no one to invite to, Relina already have plans with her mother and sister" he added quickly. Wow! Relina and him are getting along, that's nice. I hope they become a couple! hihihi

"Actually I'm going to the mall to meet up with the respondent of my thesis" I replied

"Oh" that’s the only thing that he said

"If you want you can come with me? Then after meeting with the respondent we could hang out, is that okay with you?" I ask him

"Sure" he smiled, Jerome's smile now a days are different. I don't know why but I just know it.

"Aren't you guys going to invite me?" Chantal appeared in the middle of nowhere.

"You're here, in that case let's go" I told them

My interview with the respondent of my thesis didn't take too long. It's very difficult to find a respondent so I need to agree to their terms and demands so that I won't have any problems in taking information from them. 

After meeting with the respondent, I, Chantal and Jerome went to Timezone because Jerome said that it's been a long time since we bonded. Actually Jerome is right; back in our high school days we used to go on places like this to play, back then we used to go at Timezone, Quantum and World of Fun. Like always Chantal and Jerome are all fired up in playing Tekken, Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter. When it comes to basketball shooting, car racing and punching bag, Jerome and I are rivals. It took us an hour and a half playing but before we go Chantal pointed at the x-box game Just Dance, imagine the three of us dancing infront of other people! haha We're not bad dancers if I say so myself, if you're asking Jerome how was he... Well, being all in one runs in their blood... He's like Jayden, Jerome also can dance special sexy dance! haha What do you expect from a guy like him? haha

Now we're hungry.... Playing at Timezone worn us out so Chantal said that we should eat. Jerome and I let Chantal pick the restaurant; she picked a Japanese restaurant, her favorite. Since we're hungry we didn't waste any time standing at the entrance of the restaurant. My eyes saw a familiar face, it’s Jayden and he is with Micayla. What's going on? I thought they are having their shooting?

When we got in we took Jayden and Micayla's attention so instead of being rude by not going to them, we did.

"Hi baby" Jayden smiled at me
