Chapter 46: Special Day!

I'm done arranging my surprise for Ana; I left Micayla first in order to do this. I just hope Ana will show up. I messed up big time, but I want to make this day special for her. When I got to the Northern Grand Hall everyone is well dressed. The ball will start at 7pm and it's already quarter to 7. This hall is huge it's the first time I've been here so I just roam around first, then may fans started to show up and they want to have picture with me; of course they can.

After having pictures with my fans I saw Chantal and Edward in a table. They are the only one who is sitting at that table so I approached them "Sup, Jayden" Edward and I fist bump while Chantal just gave me a smile. I know Chantal is still mad at me because of the uneasiness I gave her bestfriend. "Babe aren't you going to say something to Jayden?" Edward looked at Chantal

"Uhm.... Jayden I'm really sorry for what I acted earlier at Lia's house, I know you have no knowledge about your fans bashing Lia and for that I'm really sorry" She bow her head a little

"You don't need to apologize, Chantal; I guess I deserve it. I've been an irresponsible boyfriend to Ana... The truth is I should be the one apologizing" I told her. Well true they are just worried about Ana and I can't blame them for sticking with their friend.

A moment later Ella, Paul, Relina and Jerome arrived. My eyes caught Jerome's hand holding Relina's, I think my cousin is really moving forward already; that's good I hope their relationship works out. Come to think of it I also realized that the color of their attires are in pairs. Chantal is wearing a black elegant dress with matching pearl jewelries while Edward is wearing a black coat and black long sleeve inside but he isn't wearing any necktie. The other couple Ella and Paul are team red, Ella is wearing a read cocktail dress with gold jewelries making her angel face to be fierce and Paul is wearing a black coat and tie while his long sleeve is red. We now go to Relina and Jerome which is in Barnie theme, if you're asking why it's because they are wearing purple, Relina wears a backless long dress; she also wears a simple necklace with a purple stone in the middle while her hair is arrange upwards leaving a little strands of hair both sides of her face and my cousin is wearing a black coat, light purple for his long sleeve and dark purple for his necktie. All of them are in pairs except for me; I do hope Ana showed herself tonight.

A moment later the dean gave the opening remarks welcoming all the students, professors, non-teaching staff and the other guests and then Micayla appeared infront of us, I forgot all about her because my mind is full of Ana if she is going to show up or not. Speaking of which is she coming? The ball is starting

"Hi there, can I sit with you guys?" Micayla asked the others, but no one seems to respond "I'll take your silence as a yes" Micayla sat down beside me and I felt an awkward aura in this table.

"What's up Micayla?" I asked

"Well my manager said that later on the press will be here" She said

"What? Why?" I'm quite surprised

"I think they are going to check on us because we are together in this event" She said sweetly, and then I saw Chantal rolled her eyes.

"This is a school event; they just can't go here anytime they want... They need to talk to the Rector to decide if it's okay or not" I told her

"Oh that's already been taken cared of by my manager" She said, do I have a choice? It's work.... Tsss

Thirty minutes has passed and the MC is already calling out the names of the candidate for the Jingle Bell Ice King and Queen to introduce us infront of the grand hall because later on the people inside this hall is going to vote for their Ice King and Queen. First are the candidates for the Ice King they called out our names first. I didn't know that Steven was the candidate for Political Science. Then it's the turn for the candidates of the Ice queen. The candidate of Psychology, Communication Arts, Information Technology, Medicine, Engineering, and also Micayla (Marketing Management) has already been called.
