A/N: This chapter is pretty bipolar with the feels and the transitions between feels are a bit wack but it makes sense and has good flow so I'm basically giving you permission to hate me and stop reading this bc I can't write for shit~

"OI! FACEACHE! GET UP NOW!" Murdoc roughly attempted to drag his boyfriend out of bed. He was a raging mess. Russel and Noodle didn't even alert the manager or the record company when they hand uploaded the damned album. Murdoc stopped and took a breath. He knew that getting this angry was bad for a crusty old man like him.

"You can't just treat him like that if y'all are an item," a husky voice boomed from the doorway. Murdoc squinted at the source of the voice in question. "I'm a firm believer in tough love. Now screw off, I'm still mad at you," Murdoc shoved Russel. Russel, being the huge man he is, didn't move an inch. "The album was long overdue, we needed to release it whether you were fucking Dentz or not," Russel let his hand rest on the green man's shoulder. "I don't sodding care. Albarn is going to be up my arse because of this. I don't fucking need that." Russel only shrugged. He couldn't give two shits about Murdoc and his sad little problems. Murdoc gave him the stink eye before returning to 2-D.

He was half awake now because of the little confrontation between Murdoc and Russel. "What's w-wrong Murdoc?" 2-D croaked, sitting half way up, stretching his arms. "Don't worry it's just Russ being a fucking idiot," Murdoc viciously spat the words at 2-D. The sluggish singer became intimidated by Murdoc's anger. All the painful memories started rushing into 2-D's head, reminding him of how much of a monster Murdoc really was. It hurt to see that through all of this, the only one that changed was 2-D. A small drop left 2-D's left eye. He tried not to show Murdoc that he was hurt and dropped his face into his pillow. He sobbed more now that his face was covered; the fact that he was trying so hard not to cry only made him look worse. Murdoc silently tried to process what was happening. He dead ass had no idea what 2-D was doing until he heard a muffled moan.

"NO! Please don't cry! I'm so sorry! Fucking Satan, why can't I do anything right?!" Murdoc failed at comforting the man and ended up smacking his head against the wall in frustration. They hadn't even been together a week and he had already screwed up and made the kid cry. After a few seconds of constant banging, Murdoc pulled himself together. He looked at the wall. There was a prominent dent in the drywall. He sighed, knowing he had to fix that but in the end was never going to get around to it.

"Fuck, I'm sorry Stu," Murdoc sat on the bed next to the sobbing singer. He ran his hand along 2-D's back softly. The warm touch sent tingles up his spine. After a few seconds, 2-D had stopped crying and was enjoying the comforting touch. He had even started purring a bit like a pleased cat. Murdoc smiled and stood up, bringing 2-D with him. He took a minute to examine the kid's face. It was red and puffy but under all the sadness there was a soft smile. "We'll make this work, k?" Murdoc dug his face into 2-D's chest. He enjoyed being shorter than the man because of his ability to do this.

"Can we-" 2-D paused and thought about what he was going to ask. He decided against it to avoid judgement, "Can I get in the baff?"

Because of the long pause, Murdoc was able to read 2-D. "Yes, of course," he smirked and dragged him into the bathroom with him. He liked the fact that there was a bathroom in 2-D's room. He felt more private and together with 2-D. "I-uh I meant alone.. can I get in'a baff alone?"

"Well then why did you say 'we' at first, hmm?"

2-D backed away a bit, knowing he really wanted to get in the bath with Murdoc. The only thing was that he felt a bit unstable and sad. He was afraid he'd ruin everything.

"It's alright if you don't want to, I've already showered anyway," Murdoc began walking off, but slowly because he wanted 2-D to tell him that they could bathe together. Just as he wanted, 2-D called back to him, "It's fine! I want to, please come back..."

Murdoc grinned and spun on his heel to face the singer. "I love you," he locked the door behind him and slowly approached 2-D. 2-D had already begun turning the facet on, making sure it wasn't too cold or too hot. After the bath began filling they undressed silently. Murdoc couldn't keep his eyes off of 2-D. He loved everything about him. He found himself extremely lucky to be able to do this. Come to think of it, he had always kicked out the birds before they could wash up. He'd never had a post sex shower or bath with anybody. Technically speaking, he'd already showered, but 2-D was still covered in the filth of what they did. Murdoc liked to think it counted in his mind.

"Baff's ready, Mudz," 2-D shyly pointed at the tub. It was 3/4 of the way full and the surface was littered in lavender bubbles. "Do you have any yummy smelling candles? They'd set a good mood," Murdoc nudged 2-D playfully. He nodded, pointing to the under-sink cupboard, "They help me wiff stress n' stuff."

"Is it alright if we use 'em?"

2-D nodded as he slipped into the tub. The water level raised a tad due to the added mass. He entertained himself with the bubbles while he waited for Murdoc to set up the candles. By the time he finished lighting them, set the light off, and got in, 2-D had a beard of bubbles hanging from his chin. Murdoc tried to contain a laugh while 2-D innocently looked back at him. "Wot?"

"This is supposed to be a romantic bath with my boyfriend but my boyfriend's suddenly grown a beard and now I can't kiss him," Murdoc chuckled.

2-D giggled and swipped the bubbles off, "Better?"

Murdoc shrugged. This made 2-D needy for the kiss he didn't even know he needed.

2-D slowly crawled closer to Murdoc until he was practically sitting on him. Murdoc just looked at him, unmoved. 2-D whined and inched his face closer to Murdoc, "Why won't you love me?"

Suddenly, Murdoc lunged at 2-D and began kissing him roughly. 2-D moaned loudly. Murdoc took the chance to stick his tongue into the pretty boy's mouth. He stopped for a second to admire the mess he had made. 2-D was desperately panting. His cheeks were hot and rubicund. A small drizzle of saliva was slipping out of his lower lip.

"Love you like that?" Murdoc hummed while seductively tickling the skin under 2-D's chin.

2-D was still too flustered to respond.

"You're silly," Murdoc began kissing 2-D's bare collar bone. More controlled, soft moans left 2-D's mouth. He bit into his lip hard. His whole body was tingling.

Murdoc stopped again to look him in the eyes. "I've wanted this for so long and I've been approaching it the wrong way for so long. I really don't see why you're letting me do this," Murdoc mumbled uneasily. It was quite strange considering the fact that the level of his ego was through the roof. The truth was, he wasn't as confident in the realm of love than he was in the realm of lust. One night stands. That was it. Girls and boys. It didn't matter, they were all for one night. Never with anyone he really loved. He'd never expressed affection in the ways that he was now with 2-D.

"It's awright, Murdoc. I love you," 2-D wrapped his arms around the green man's neck and pulled him close for a hug.

"I love you too, Stu."
