Chapter 3: lady lake, the aqua metropolis part 2

Opening: kaze no uta

After arriving at Lady lake, Rias and Co. got a strange note telling them to go to the tiny dragon Inn. When they followed the note's instruction, they met Rossweise, owner of the inn and Azazel a wind seraph that drinks all the time. A day later, rias met up with an Old acquaintance, a woman named Kuroka who was a messenger for Vali and issei. Later that day, Rias helped Rossweisse get some business into her inn. A few days later, the town was preparing for something.

"Hey, Rossweisse what's going on in town?" Rias asked

"People are preparing for the sword festival. Its the day where people try to pull out the sacred sword." Rossweisse explained

Rias remembers something irina said about the sacred sword

"I see..." rias said with understanding

SLAM!

"Rias, we have a problem!" Laphicet said urgently

"Laphicet? What's wrong?" Rias asked concerned

"It's sophie! She's gone missing!" Laphicet answered

After hearing what Laphicet said, Rias ran out the door to look for sophie in town.

"I warned her not to have such a loose leash on you all." Grimoirh mentioned

Meanwhile in town, Rias searched desperately to try and find Sophie, who was no where in sight. Rias decided to check the noble district. Meanwhile in the noble district, sophie was sitting alone while curled up into a ball, crying.

"Laphicet.... everyone..." sophie cried sadly and scared

While sophie sat alone, Someone was walking by and noticed her.

"Hello there, are you lost?" She asked

"Yes, i got separated from my friends when we were wondering around the city..." sophie answered sadly

"You poor thing... come with me, i'll help you find them." She offered out of pity

"I'm not suppose to go with strangers..." sophie mentioned

"It's okay, you can trust me." The woman assured

"A-alright..." sophie agreed nervously

So sophie took the woman's hand and they walk into town. As for rias, she was still searching the noble district

"Sophie... where are you?" Rias wondered with worry.

Rias decided to head back to the inn, while heading back, she noticed lunarre on one of the buildings. Rias decided to pursue him instead of heading back to the inn. When she caught up with lunarre, she drew her sword. Lunarre heard the drawing of her blade and looked down at rias and jumped down.

"You're going to pay for attacking Elysia, Lunarre." Rias threatened

"So you say." He said before he rushed towards rias.

Rias managed to dodge the attack and got behind lunarre. When Lunarre looked behind himself a shadow covered his face. When he looked up he saw Rias in the air as she performs a rising clockwise spin with her back against lunarre and strikes lunarre with her right heel and slashes him, rias then While holding her sword in reversed grip, Rias slashes diagonally upward to the left, horizontally to the right, and finally diagonally downward to the left, each swing tracing a blue streak, together forming in a shape similar to letter A, rias finishes the arte while he briefly disappears, appearing shortly after in midair in front of lunarre and delivering a vertical slash.

"Oof!" Grunted lunarre

"Damn.... without the flames of purification, i can't stop him." Rias realized
