Chapter 7: Rias and Edna.

After koneko pressed some buttons, edna ran away. Rias and the others decided to chase after her.  When chasing after her, there was a small bridge that was crossable. Thinking edna made it, they pursued edna Regardless. Soon enough, they reached Rayfalke spiritcrest, rias and the others went up the mountain to try and find edna until they encountered a hellion.

"It's armadillo!" Lailah noticed with excitement

"So?" Rias wondered

"Look at it! It's so round and smooth!" Lailah explained with excitement

"Okay... lailah has officially enter odd town." Ophis pointed out

"I'm with you there." Koneko agreed

Rias slashes the armadillo hellion with her sword and purifies it.

"Noooooo! Why did you do that!?" Lailah complained

"Lailah, remind me. Why are we here again?" Rias asked rhetorically

"We're here to find Edna. Why do you ask?" Lailah answered

"Right, and we should be looking for her instead of armadillos." Rias told her

"R-right. My bad, i like things that curl up into a tight ball." Lailah apologized

"We can see that." Rias told her

So they started heading up the mountain. Once they reached the summit, they saw edna standing in front of a grave.

"Edna?" Rias wondered

"...go away..." edna said while hiding in her umbrella.

"We can't do that. You're my sub lord." Lailah reminded

"Edna, look. I know what you're going through-." Rias told edna

"No you don't!" Edna said with sorrow while cutting off rias

Rias remains silent after hearing what edna said and wants to hear what she had to say.

"You don't know what it's like losing someone you care about!" Edna added

Rias clenches her right hand into a fist and walks up to edna. Rias then removed edna's umbrella and smacks her, after smacking Edna, Lailah and everyone else looked in awe.

"You think i don't know what it's like losing someone you care about? Well i do! I saw my nephew killed by his own father who became a Shepard in order to get his hands on innominat's power! Then i lost the man i loved to my father! If you think i don't understand then you have another thing coming edna! Sometimes when i sleep, i get flashbacks of those days! Believe me, i wish i could change the past but i can't! I have to live with it every singe day!" Rias told edna with anger

"Rias.." laphicet said with concern.

Lailah pulls out the iris gem and it shows her the past again. It shows lailah how rias became a lord of calamity in the first place and more, it shows a little boy being stabbed by 7 swords of light before falling into an abyss. When the memory ended, Lailah started to understand why rias did that to edna.

"When the man i loved died, i ran away from my friends to cry alone! Then one of my friends asked me this "would he want to see me crying like this?" I answered no because i knew he would want me to move forward! I want you to do the same Edna, move forward!" Rias told edna

"Wow... that was a bit harsh." Koneko admitted in awe

"I guess you're right... Eizen wouldn't want to see me like this." Edna admitted
