Chapter 27: Broken bonds.

After travelling back to ladylake, people seems happier than usual. While walking around, Rossweisse noticed a line just outside her inn. She quickly go into her bar/Inn and saw that it was packed with people.

"Sera! How did this happen?!" Rossweisse asked astonished

"Hey, Boss. You might want to thank Miss Gremory over there. She asked if she could work here for a bit and i let her. After that, Customers started pouring in.

Rias, Koneko and lily sit at a table with Sophie while others hanged in Rias's body.

"I can believe how popular this place has become." Rias said in awe.

"I agree." Koneko agreed

"Uh... something's burning!" Lily alerted serafall.

"OH CRAP!" Serafall said while panicking.

"Worry about it later, i'll work in the kitchen!" Rossweisse ordered while heading into the kitchen.

After siting down for a bit, Rias left the table and went upstairs to the room she was staying in. Rias looks in mirror and looks at her shoulder which had a scar.

"Its never going to heal is it?" Rias wondered depressed and ashamed.

Creak...

"Who's there?" Rias questioned

Sophie pokes her out of the doorway.

"Sophie? Why aren't you downstairs getting something to eat?" Rias questioned

"I'm worried about you." Sophie answered with concern.

"I'm fine." Rias told her

"You're not fine! You keep tell me that but there's always something wrong!" Sophie said annoyed

Rias sighs in defeat.

"I'm worried about my scars. They're never going to go away." Rias answered in defeat

"What are scars?" Sophie wondered curiously

"Marks on your body that are made by injuries." Rias answered ashamed.

"Oh..." sophie said ashamed as well.

The two down look at each other for a minute until Rias's eye glows

"Sophie, Just head downstairs and eat something, we'll be down in a bit." Rias told Sophie in Issei's voice.

"Okay." Sophie agreed with concern.

Her stops glowing after sophie left.

"Being a single mom is hard." Rias said depressed

Her eyes glows

"I can tell. I'm actually looking through your memories right now. From when sophie was born all the way to now. She really was a handful and is pretty timid huh." Issei said through Rias's body.

Rias's eye stops glowing.

"Yeah, she is. But she's not timid towards me or anyone else she knows, just new people she's not comfortable with." Rias responded.

"She'll get better over the years, trust me." Issei assured

"I hope so." Rias hoped

Later in the night, in front if Venelana's room, Rias stood before it and was hesitant to knock on it.

"You okay?" Issei asked concerned.

"I don't know if i can do this..." rias answered frightened

"You can do this. I may not be there in physical form but i'm with you all the way, so man up and do it." Issei told her
