Chapter 9: Wind and Water.

After solving a problem back at Ladylake, rias and Co. made their way back to Elysia. After arriving at Elysia, Rias grabbed her chest and so did Laphicet.

"Gah... there's a domain here and not a good one." Rias said grabbing the right side of her chest while there was great strain on her body

"S-same." Laphicet agreed.

"There must be a hellion close by." Lailah suggested.

"Let's head into Mikleo's domain. It should counter the hellion's domain and easy the pain on us." Rias suggested

They enter the gates of Elysia, after doing so, the strain on Rias and Laphicet's body went away.

"That's better." Rias admitted relieved

"Welcome back." Mikleo welcomed

"Hey." Rias greeted

They remain silent for a few second

"Guys, why don't you head to my place, me and mikleo need to chat for a minute or two." Rias told them

"I'd like to stay and chat if you don't mind." Lailah said

"Same, it's been a long time since Meebo was around." Edna agreed with Lailah.

"Fine." Rias agreed

Everyone else heads to Rias's place while Rias, Lailah and Edna stay behind to talk to Mikleo.

"So, ladylake. How was it for your first time?" Mikleo asked Curiously

"Really amazing. I've never seen anything quite like it." Rias answered in awe

"Good to know." Mikleo admitted

Mikleo looks at Lailah and edna

"It has been a long time, Mikleo." Lailah said depressed

"Indeed, it has." Mikleo agreed

"As you can tell, Rias is now the Shepard and we came here to ask you a favour." Lailah mentioned

"If it's to become your sub-lord again, i have to decline. The seraphim need me, and i'm going to protect this place for Sorey and Muse." Mikleo declined

"Mikleo..."lailah said with concern

"Well, so much for that. I was hoping you would say yes." Rias said with disappointed

Edna tries to poke Mikleo with her umbrella but Mikleo dodges it.

"Huh?" Edna wondered shocked

"Like i'd fall for that again." Mikleo said coldly

"Come on, meebo. Things aren't the same without you." Edna complained

"I said no, and nothing you say will change my mind." Mikleo said coldly before walking back to his house.

Once mikleo left, Rias, Lailah and edna went to Rias's house, where everyone was waiting for her. After entering her house, Rias noticed grimoirh watching Sophie, Gasper and Ophis do their homework, as for Koneko, Rossweisse and Azazel, they were just relaxing while looking around her house.

"Nice place you got here." Koneko admitted

"Thanks." Rias thanked

"It's a little bland for my taste."azazel admitted

"So what if it's bland? I like it, it really shows how i'm starting fresh." Rias told azazel proudly
