Chapter 12: Separated.

After resting up after checking on the condition of the government in Ladylake, rias and the others decided to continue their journey to Rolance.

"Venelana, i think it would be best if you stayed here." Rias suggested

"I agree, we have enough on our plate with Lunarre on the loose and the lord of calamity to find." Mikleo agreed

"I too agree but wouldn't it be safe if sophie stayed with me?" Venelana agreed before showing concern for Sophie.

"I can protect her. She's my daughter, i'll do whatever it takes to protect her." Rias told her

"If you say so." Venelana said

Soon enough, they started leaving Ladylake and started heading to Rolance.

"Hey, Lailah? You've travelled around Glenwood before right? Where is Glaivend Basin?" Gasper asked curiously

"A little ways pass marlind. Back when sorey was around, rolance and Ladylake were still enemies at the time." Lailah answered.

"If i remember correctly, didn't you and sorey fight a dragon at that area?" Grimoirh asked curiously

"Indeed we did." Lailah answered

"Dragons...?" Sophie wondered scared

Edna has an idea and smirks.

"Yeah, it was a big one. It stood on 2 legs, stood at 40 feet tall, it was covered in rough brown scaly skin and had wings that were twice its size with red eyes, and a mouth full of Razor sharp teeth." Edna told Sophie mischievously

Sophie whimpers after what she heard and grabs onto her mother's hand with both hands.

"If i remember correctly, dragons like eating kids that are really naughty. They land quietly near the homes of the naughty children, they open the window to their bedroom and reach in quietly, after that, they place them in their mouths. Sometimes the children wake up after feeling the slimy tongue of the dragon but as soon as they realize where they were.... CHOMP!" Edna told Sophie Mischievously

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Sophie screamed in fear before running a head

"Sophie!" Rias said with concerned

Koneko hits edna on the head.

"You definitely deserved that." Mikleo admitted

"Oh shut up Meebo." Edna told mikleo

They all try to catch up with sophie. While chasing after her, they got to glaivend basin but when they were halfway through, lunarre was there with Sophie in his clutches.

"I knew you were going to show you face at some point." Rias said eagerly while drawing her sword

Rias points her blade at Lunarre.

"Let sophie go Lunarre, now!" Rias demanded

"I'm going to say no, i've grown quite fond of her." Lunarre answered devilishly

"M-mommy?" Sophie wondered scared

"Sophie, it's okay. I'm going to get you back." Rias assured

"Hey, i'm going to use my power to get behind him but be prepared, you'll only have a small window." Mikleo told rias.

"Right." Rias agreed

Mikleo cloaks himself and carefully tries to get behind lunarre, while rias and the other kept him distracted.

"I have a score to settle with you, you need to pay for attacking Elysia." Rias told Lunarre

"oh really and you think by being the shepard will allow you to do that? Don't make me laugh! You were weak then and you're still weak now!" Lunarre questioned humorously
