Chapter 11

Emma's P.O.V

"He wants you to do what?!" Said Alexa raising her voice at me.

Alexa, Steven and I were sitting on the steps of the door of the school. I was telling them about going with Austin to visit my brother. Steven was silent listening like a normal person while Alexa was freaking out.

"That's so dangerous Emma, are you really telling me you're going to spend your Christmas holidays going to see your brother? With Austin?" Said Alexa raising her eyebrows.

"Sound like a good holidays" Said Steven smiling and Alexa punched his arm.

"Ah! Whaaaat? She wants to see his brother and he's going with Austin she will be safe" Said Steven and I smiled.

"Thank you Steven finally someone who understands" I said.

"Since when do you know Austin that much Steven? Since when do you know he's a good person?" Said Alexa.

"He's friends with my brother, he's many times at my house and he's a good man believe me, he's so humble" Said Steven.

I walked to the skatepark and I sat on the floor with my bag next to me.

"Hey I thought you weren't coming" He said.

"I been thinking about the New York thing" When I mentioned the New York thing Austin looked straight at me but sadly he fell from the skate.

"Fuck" He said rubbing his face on the floor. I ran to him on my knees and I sat next to him. He didn't seem to want to get up so I just sat there.

"Are you okay?" I said.

"Yeah yeah, I just wasn't focused at all I don't know what's wrong with me" He said as he took a junion mint into his mouth. He's obssesed I swear.

"So.."

"So..?" He mimicked me.

"I will go to New York with you, but I have a problem"

"Yes!" He shouted happily. "Wait, what problem?" He snapped his head in my direction.

"My parents maybe?" I said groaning. "I mean I can't leave the house just like that, I couldn't tell them that I'm in a friend's house, they'll suspect, if they see that I haven't come home in a long time they'll call the police. I have to leave in another way" I said with a sigh. "But I don't even know how"

"Believe it or not I already have an idea" Said Austin.

Wow.

"Do exactly the same as Jacob, fight with them about something and leave the house" He said like it was nothing.

It was very simple what Austin was saying, but if you think it can work. I'm going somewhere far from my house because I have fought with my parents and don't want to talk to them, yes right?

"It can work.." I said with my hand under my chin.

"Well so I'm gonna pack my bag" He said getting up grabbing his backpack and his skate.

"Tomorrow night I'll be here at nine waiting for you. Wear something comfy and not expensive" He said chuckling the last part.

"I will try mr streetman" I said laughing.
