Chapter 30

Emma's P.O.V

At the time Austin drove me home and wrapped in a blanket to make sure I was warm made me forget for the moment the real situation. What just happened? I sat on the couch watching TV at that time was off. My gaze in anything, my mind was in shock. Austin came out from nowhere with another blanket and put it over me. I was burning but the fact that Austin was making sure I was warm enought made me very happy, he cares about me.

"I'm sorry" I turned my gaze to him. He was looking at the floor but when he realized I was looking at him his gaze landed on me.

"Why?" I'm so confused.

"For what you just saw" He sighed loudly. "I just can't stand her, she's a dark past" He whispered.

"Austin" He looked at me. "Please tell me, I won't judge you"

Austin thought for a moment as if uncertain whether to play or not because a dog might bite you. He rubbed his face up and down a few times as he does when he's frustrated then he bited his lip and finally spoke.

"She's my worst nightmare. She wants to make me think she changed, she wants to come back with me but even If I was single I wouldn't dare to come back with her. She's hell. She's fake. She's everything but no good for me, she just makes me so mad. She ruined my teenager days, she ruined me" He said as his voice cracking.

"And for more problems, yesterday night she came at my mema's place at like 3 a.m, high as hell to 'chill with me' when it's been years since I left her" He put the air quotes on 'chill with me' and he looked so hurt, his eyes weres glossy.

I took off all the covers off and sat on the lap of Austin and hugged him with force. He wrapped his arms around me and nuzzled in my neck kissing it softly. We stayed like that like 30 minutes of clock, suddenly Austin spoke.

"Thank you I needed your hug" He mumbled.

"Why did she want to come back with my Austin?" I said smiling as I looked at him because I called him mine.

"I don't care I have a beautiful girlfriend, you know?" He smirked.

"Oh, tell me about her" I giggled.

"She's so beautiful, she's a shortie and she gets on my nerves many times because she's so stubborn" He said laughind at the end and I gasped.

"But.. I like her the way she is" He finished smiling.

"I love you" I said and I panicked at what I said. Emma you stupid! What If he doesn't feel the same way?

I waited nervously and he scanned my face up on down like searching for something on me, like wanting to read me like a book. He grabbed my face with both of his hands and kissed me softly, one not but three times, I closed my eyes enjoying this moment.

"I love you too"

And when that four words came out his mouth I swear my heart was racing like a Ferrari. He loves me, this stupid boy who I first hated it's now my boyfriend, my life.

Still holding of Austin, he got up from the couch and grabbed me under my thighs. He carried me to the room. I felt like when my father carried me to my room when I was sleep on the couch being a kid. I loved those times. Surely if someone saw me now they would say that I look like a koala hugging a tree but instead of hugging a tree I'm hugging an Austin. Logical, right?

Suddenly I snapped out my thought by falling softly and slowly in Austin's bed. He took off his shoes and ran his hands throught his hair.

"What a day.." He whispered to himself.

In a matter of second he was under the blankets laying next to me.

"Are you warm enough? I don't want you sick" He said hugging me to his chest.

"I'm fine, don't worry"

"Tomorrow we will drive to Jacob's places If we find him of course. So tomorrow pack your things okay?" He looked at me.

I nodded.

"Sleep baby girl, I love you" He said and he grabbed my chin kissing me.

"I love you too"

I was supposed to update yesterday but in my country it's raining so much and that makes my wifi go like shit or die so I APOLOGIZE SORRY
