Chapter 12

Austin's P.O.V

I was now at the skatepark with my three best friends Zach, Robert and Alex. We all do skate but I skate since I was 12, they only skate since the last two years, but hey they are pretty good. We were the only bench that was in the skatepark sitting talking about stuff.

"I have something to tell you guys" I said.

"What is it?" Said Alex.

"Probably tonight I'm going to New York with Emma" When I said her name all their heads snapped in my direction.

"You're lying" Said Zach. "Why would a girl so stunning like Emma go to New York with you? She hates you" He said and Robert chuckled while Alex smiled like an idiot.

"I'm serious, I'm taking her to see her brother" I said licking my lips.

"And she agreed?" Said Robert surprised and I nodded with a smirk.

"You wanna get some don't ya' Mahone?" Said Zach raising his eyebrows.

"Oh c'mon we are friends, I'm just taking her because I want to show her I'm not that stupid as she thinks" I said.

"No, you're trying to impress her, we know you" Alex said.

"No" Maybe.

"Whatever" Said Zach.

I know they will give up, no one wants to argue with me because I can get really annoying. Sassy Austin in action.

Emma's P.O.V

I've thought about what Austin told me to do, I'll fight with my parents and I will run. My backpack is already packed in my backyard with all the things I need. Austin called me before saying he'll be here at nine and his car will be parked two from houses of mine to avoid any suspicion from my parents or the neighbours.

I sat down to have dinner with my parents, there was an awkward silence then I decided to put my plan into action.

"Mom" I said and she looked at me.

"Jacob called me last week" I said smiling but she looked like she was going to explode.

"Emma, shut up" Said my dad.

"No" I said.

"Excuse me?" He said.

"I have the right to talk about my brother" I said.

"Not in this house" Said my mom.

"Why can't you guys tell me what's wrong with Jacob!?" I said yelling.

"That's enough Emma go to your room now!" Yelled my dad getting up from the chair.

I quickly ran to the back door of our house, I grabbed my bag and ran out looking for the Range Rover of Austin. A part of me didn't want away and leave my worried parents, but as Austin said .. you have to take risks in your life. Finally my eyes found the famous Range Rover of Austin, I opened the door and got into the car.

I breathed out and I left my bag on the back seat of the car. I buckled my belt and I looked at Austin.

"I made it" I said smiling while trying to catch my breath.

Austin smiled and said. "I thought you weren't that bad girl like for do this" He smirked.

"Shut up and drive Mahone"
