Chapter 13

Emma's P.O.V

Driving lasting two hours, Austin seemed wide awake and fresh. His eyes were not red like mine I had on a huge fatigue.

I decided to play Kim Kardashian's game to stay awake, lately I've been very adicted to this game. It is very addictive and fun.

"Are you tired?"

My eyes widened and looked at Austin. I saw he was eating Junior Mints, as usual. Whenever he talks to me I can smell the smell of mint and I love it.

"No" I lied and I glued my eyes on the screen again.

"I suggest that if you that If we are going to spend much time together in the same space you should learn to no not be so stubborn with me" He said and I chuckled.

"Why would I stop being the way I am? Just because I'm around you?" I chuckled again while playing.

Within a second Austin took one hand off the wheel and grabbed my phone putting it up so I could not reach it. Suddenly he put my phone between his thighs and closed them.

"What the hell are you doing Austin? That's my phone" I said annoyed.

"And?" He said like nothing with his eyes glued on the road.

"That it's something mine maybe?" I said.

"My car" He paused and looked at me. "My rules" He said and looked at the road again.

"Be aware that if you take away my phone I'll get bored, I'll bother you and I will get all stubborn" I sais crossing my arms and pouting.

"Believe me you won't, I believe you're tired as hell because your eyes are so fucking red, babe" He said in a quiet tone.

"And why aren't you tired?" I said wondering.

"Because before I came to pick up you, I drank a large coffe" He said.

I nodded and I began to look his car. It looked very expensive to be honest, he had many CD's and many packs of Junior Mints. That made me think why he's always eating junior mints.

Austin turned off the engine and unbuckled his belt. I did the same and I was looking at my lap, Austin was directly looking at me, as if he waiting me to say the first word.

"Why did we stop in the middle of.." i looked throught my window and saw nothing. ".. middle of nowhere?" I said looking at him.

"Today we will sleep in the car, tomorrow we will look for a motel and we'll stop to eat" He said raising his eyebrows.

Austin leaned his seat back and lay down completely. I instead decided to leave the seat reclined, put my knees up to my chest and rested my head to my right side. I closed my eyes for a moment but..

CLAP.

Austin leaned my seat and I was completely lying. What my heart was beating at the time was SCARY, I thought It was get out my chest.

"What the hell Austin?!" I yelled.

"I did it for your own good" He said searching something in his bag.

"For my own good!? You just scared the crap out me Austin" I yelled again.

"I leaned your seat for you to be comfy, If you sleep reclined your pretty neck will hurt tomorrow"

The boy had a point. He just looked at me with a smirk upon his lips. Oh jeez. Without knowing what to say I turned towards the door to don't look at Austin. Sometimes I say stupid things to be honest. Austin tapped my shoulder and I groaned.

"Whaaaat.." I said without moving any muscle of my body.

"This is for you" He said. I turned around and It was his Levi's demin jacket.

"Wear it and keep it so you won't be cold" He said.

I grabbed the jacket and I put it on, It was big, soft, warm and it was Austin's scent. It smelled like vanilla.

"T-thank you Austin"

Why am I stuttering?

Suddenly without even know it I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged Austin. It was comfortable to hug him. I don't know why but I liked it.

"Why are you tense?" He said squeezing me.

There is when I lost it, what do I say? I have never been this close to a boy's body and that made me feel scared, nervous and incomfortable. I never knew why, Alexa thinks it's because I have never been in a realtionship. And I think it was that but I couldn't tell Austin he would make fun of me surely.

I pulled away from the hug and I lay down again curled in a ball facing the car door again.

"Thanks for the jacket Austin and goodnight" I said before everything went black.
