Chapter 14

Austin's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning thinking about why Emma was so nervous yesterday, it was she who hugged me. I enjoyed that hug a lot. I reclined my seat and turned my head towards where Emma was, she was quietly sleeping curled in a ball with my jacket. You could hear the sound of her snores and the truth is that was a very relaxed sound. Normally when people snore it's so annoying, but she was like a baby snoring.

I grabbed my phone to check the time and it was 10 in the morning. I decided to drive up somewhere, but I don't know where exactly. After driving for 20 minutes my eyes saw an abandoned and empty parking lot. It reminds me of a scene from Breaking Bad where Walt's car explodes into a million pieces.

I left the car and silently took my skate from my Range Rover. Since Emma looks that she's gonna sleep so much I will skate to kill the time.

Emma's P.O.V

I woke up pretty rested, who would say that I would sleep so well in a car? I have never slept in a car, there's always a first time for everything.

I reclined my seat and realized that Austin wasn't in the car. I looked through the car window and saw that we were not in the same place as before, we were in a abandoned parking lot and in the distance I could see an abandoned mall.

Suddenly I saw Austin doing skateboarding tricks. According to skaters all the tricks and jumps are different but to me they are all exactly the same.

I left the car, closing the door behind me, I crossed my arms over my chest and walked slowly to Austin.

"What are you doing?" I said.

"Practicing my hard flips" He said.

"What's a hard flip?" I said.

"Look" He said and started skating.

Austin began skate away from me, suddenly jumping up making the skate give 3 turns and he landed on it with complete accuracy. Austin hit the skate making up from the floor and took it. He looked at me smirking, honestly I thought he did great. It was so accurately.

"It was amazing eh?" He said raising his eyebrows and I groaned snd walked away. Why he gotta be so cocky.

Austin's P.OV

I showed Emma my famous Hard Flip and she seemed very surprised. I know that deep down she thought it was great and exciting, but I know enough Emma to know she's so stubborn. But I love it. I know that deep down she likes me, even a little. I got that feeling that Emma likes me and I like her too even If she doesn't know it.

"Hey, are you hungry?" I said looking at the time, it was already two.

"Yeah, I didn't have breakfast so I'm hungry like a bitch" She said and I chuckled.

I keep driving till something caught my eye. It made me remind my childhood. It was a man selling Hot Dogs. I parked the most near possible and I get out the car. Emma got out te car and followed me frowning her eyebrows. I quickly grabbed her by the waist and I enjoyed doing it, the streets of New York are so dangerous If they see a pretty girl walking alone, believe me they will get her.

I noticed that Emma tensed at my touch again, I'm still wondering why..

"Hello kids" Said the man.

"Hey, I want 2 Hot Dogs" I said.

"Okay here you have, It would be 4$" He said. I handed him the money and I walked towards my car with my arm still around Emma's waist.

She's so tiny.

I sat on my seat and Emma sat on her seat looking at me with a confusing look. I handed her the Hot Dog and I started to eat mine.

"Do you expect me to eat this?" She sighed.

"It's food, do you eat rainbows or what?" I joked.

Okay I just made myself laugh.

"We just bought a Hot Dog from a strange old man in a old street. What if is toxic?" She said and I was already done with mine.

"I just eat mine and I'm alive Emma" I chuckled. "You'll see, we won't eat till tonight soo.." I said rubbing my hands.

She gave up and started to eat the Hit Dog, she had ketchup all over her nose and It was funny, she looked adorable eating a Hot Dog jeez.

"For what I see you would be good at eating dicks" I said trying to contain my laugh.

Emma spat almost everything in her mouth on the napkin, she looked at me and I hit my arm.

"You're a pig Austin!" She shouted. And I keep laughing, her face when I said dicks was princeless.

"Stop laughing it's not funny" She said mad.

It is funny, to me.
