Connor lowers the gun, handing it back to Kamski, his LED remaining on red.
You smile as your heart swelled.
He is alive...
Kamskis eyebrows raise is surprise, as does Hanks, but yours didn't. You knew he'd make the right choice.
"Fascinating.... CyberLifes last chance to save humanity, is itself a deviant," Kamski says as you stare at Connor.
"I'm...I'm not a deviant," Connor stutters, arguing back.
"You preferred to spare a machine rather than accomplish your mission," Kamski says as he helps Chloe back to her feet.
"You saw a living being in this android. You showed empathy," Kamski says as he motions Chloe away.
You walk towards Connor and grip his hand lightly, proud of him.
Kamski turns back to Connor, noticing your conjoined hands.
"A war is coming, you'll have to choose your side. Will you betray your own people? Or stand up against your creators? What could be worse than having to choose between two evils?" Kamski says with a raised brow.
You puff your chest out slightly, taking a step in front of Connor.
"Lets get outta here," Hank says as he grabs you and Connor, leading you both towards the door.
Hank walks in front of you while you and Connor stayed behind, still gripping each other's hands.
By then, Kamski has turned around and was looking outside at the snow.
Before the two of you left, Kamski spoke up.
"By the way.. I always leave an emergency exit in my programs. You never know..." Kamski says as you and Connor pause.
You glance up at Connor, and then continue walking.
After the door closed behind you and Hank was by the car outside already, you throw your arms around Connor.
"I'm proud that you made the right decision Connor," you say as you sigh contently.
He nuzzles into your neck as he nods.
"Thank you.." he whispers as you both pull away.
You share a blissful kiss, one full of happiness and contentment.
Once you pull apart, you take a deep breath in, needing air.
Connor places a few kisses down your neck as you glance outside.
You see Hank sitting on the hood of the car.
"You know he's going to question why you didn't pull the trigger," you say as Connor pauses his small tease.
He sighs and nods.
"I know.." he mumbles as he looks out the window.
You nod as you both exit the house.
Hank looks up at Connor and stands to his feet.
